A promotion for Omaha grinders
For the first time in its history, Pokerdom will host a promotion only for cash tables on new Omaha formats.
From March 15 to 18, 2021, ₽1,100,000 rubles (about $15,000) will be drawn at the PLO5 and PLO6 tables in leaderboards.
Many rooms have held rake races for 4-card Omaha, but only for its 5 and 6 card version is a novelty. Its prize pool will be split into two weekly leaderboards (March 15-21 for PLO5 and March 22-28 for PLO6). To attract players of different stakes, each of the leaderboards consists of three leagues.
In each of them, the TOP25 players will get a prize. Points towards the rating will be awarded as follows: 1 point for each ruble of rake.

Traffic
According to PokerScout, Pokerdom now ranks 25th in the world ranking of online poker in cash traffic. About 500-600 connections can be spotted during the evening (European time), and most of them on Hold'em. Hence, the real players in Omaha across all stakes are 100-150 approximately.
Such a field should make the upcoming race profitable, especially in PLO5. Now there are only up to 4-5 tables at all stakes! Therefore, even if new players come to Pokerdom only for the promotion, it will be effortless to get into the prize zone, and the fight for the top places will most likely involve just a few grinders. The field is a bit larger at PLO6, but there is still value there.
Regular tournament leaderboards
For MTT players, Pokerdom has already launched regular leaderboards, which have become rare in modern online poker, with a total prize pool of ₽98,000 rubles (roughly $1,400). And even when the payments for the first players are about $160 – $230, depending on the leaderboard, it is enough to play only a few small events to get in the money due to the number of players in the room.
