20,000 USDT CoinPoker Spring Fest promotion

From May 3 to May 16, the cryptopoker room CoinPoker will host the Spring Fest Race for Hold'em and Omaha tables with 20,000 USDT added. What value can this promo bring? We will analyze it in this article.

20,000 USDT CoinPoker Spring Fest promotion

Two weeks, two leaderboards, $20,000

Since switching to USDT in the fall of 2020, CoinPoker has not been able to increase its popularity among players in any way. However, this does not prevent them from trying harder by launching new promos with good value.

The Spring Fest is scheduled from May 3 to 16 with two leaderboards (for Hold'em and Omaha) with a total prize pool of 20,000 USDT.

The prize shares are almost twice as large as in the regular Galactic Grinders race and are also distributed among the TOP 50 in each separate ranking for NLH and PLO:

Place Prize (USDT)
1 $1,800
2 $1,400
3 $1,100
4 $800
5 $700
6 $600
7 $500
8 $400
9 $350
10 $300
11 $270
12 $240
13 $210
14 $180
15 $160
16 $140
17 $120
18 $100
19 $70
20-29 $25
30-39 $20
40-50 $10

*The TOP 5 gets a ticket to Spring Fest #14, Main Event, valued in $200.

Points are awarded for each big blind rake collected, depending on the stake:

  • NL / PLO2$ — 0.5 points.
  • NL / PLO5$ — 2 points.
  • NL / PLO10$ — 4 points.
  • NL / PLO25$ — 8 points.
  • NL / PLO50$ — 15 points.

*If a player pays rake in CHP, the number of points increases by 50%.

Let's compare the Spring Fest with Galactic Grinders. It can reward its participants (especially those who have CHP to pay rake) up to 50%-60% rakeback

Traffic

The current number of active cash tables at CoinPoker suggests that competition in Spring Fest (especially in the Omaha leaderboard) is much lower than in similar races taking place in the best poker rooms.

Judge for yourself: the last Sunday evening, we spotted only 6 active Omaha tables in the lobby — one at PL200 and the rest at PLO2-5. The situation for Hold'em was not much better: at three stakes from NL2 to NL25, 2-3 tables were active, and 3 more on NL100-NL200.

The real contenders for winning each of the Spring Fest leaderboards will be only up to 2-4 players, and NL10-25 grinders will be able to get to reasonably high places and earn up to 30 buy-ins in two weeks.

$40,000 GTD May Tournament Series

An equally exciting offer is waiting for CoinPoker MTT grinders in May.

From May 24 to May 30, Spring Fest Series will reward $40,000 across 14 events.

Date Time (CET) Event Guarantee Buy-in
24 May 18:00 Spring Fest #1, New Players 1,500 5
  20:00 Spring Fest #2 2,000 20
25 May 18:00 Spring Fest #3 1,500 40
  20:00 Spring Fest #4 1,500 10
26 May 18:00 Spring Fest #5 1,500 10
  20:00 Spring Fest #6 1,000 30
27 May 18:00 Spring Fest #7 1,000 10
  20:00 Spring Fest #8 2,000 30
28 May 18:00 Spring Fest #9 2,000 50
  20:00 Spring Fest #10 2,000 50
29 May 18:00 Spring Fest #11 1,500 50

30 May 18:00 Spring Fest #13, NoMercy Bounty 4,000 20
  20:00 Spring Fest #14, Main 15,000 200

The prize pool of each of them will be higher than the regular events with the same buy-ins. Such tournaments are still held with "chronic" overlays, and are barely played by more than 50 players.

In addition to the very likely overlays, Spring Fest Series will feature a leaderboard:

Place Prize (USDT)
1 1,000
2 700
3 450
4 300
5 250
6 200
7 150
8 100
9 75
10 50
11 45
12 40
13 35
14 30
15 20
16 15
17-20 10
21-50 5

The participants of events #13 and #14 will be able to earn $250 and $1,000 for the heads of Isabelle "NoMercy" Mercier and Tony G.
