GG Network traffic
The quantity of connections in the GG Network rooms is one of its greatest achievements. Although the numbers of skins have decreased (many old Asian rooms that allowed players without personal details were closed), the traffic during the past two years has increased getting up to 7,000 connections during peak times.
Despite the large influx of European players, the Good Game Network remains as an Asian network. This can be evidenced by comparing the number of tables available at different times. For example, 16:00-22:00 Moscow time, we have seen at least 400 players less compared with the same time in Asian schedule.
NLH 6-max traffic:
- NL10: 34 - 23 tables;
- NL25: 16 - 14 tables;
- NL50: 13 - 9 tables;
- NL100: 15 - 7 tables;
- NL200: 8 - 3 tables;
- NL400: 3 - 1 tables
- NL1K: 2 - 0 tables.
The first number indicates the traffic during the Asian peak time. Also, during that time is more likely to see games on the new NL4k-NL20k tables. For example, during our scouting, we spotted one full table of NL10k.
PLO 6-max traffic:
- PLO10: 10 - 10 tables;
- PLO25: 6 - 7 tables;
- PLO50: 2 - 7 tables;
- PLO100: 4 - 5 tables;
- PLO200: 7 - 3 tables;
- PLO400: 3 - 6 tables;
- PLO600: 4 - 1 tables;
- PLO1K: 1 - 1 tables;
There is no much difference in the Omaha lobby comparing different time zones; there is only one — we saw one PLO4k table during Asian night.
All-in or Fold traffic:
Hold'em:
- NL25: 14 - 7;
- NL100: 4 - 5 tables;
- NL400: 3 - 5 tables;
- NL1K: 4 - 6 tables.
Omaha:
- PLO50: 3 - 2 tables;
- PLO200: 3 - 2 tables;
- PLO800: 2 - 1. tables
The data clearly shows that NL25 is the most popular level in this discipline.
The main conclusion regarding the GG Network traffic is that tables run 24/7 and mostly anytime you can find good action.
GG Network promotions
In this article, we will cover only promotions not included in our website's reviews.
This year the network began to hold monthly rake races with $100,000 in prizes — the Monthly Challenge for several poker disciplines.
Also, jackpots are trending in the room. First the Flush Jackpot and the Bad Beat Jackpot. Now, the Big Hand Jackpot promotion is ongoing. In all regular Hold'em and Omaha tables, the players will receive extra payouts for obtaining a four of a kind, straight flush or a royal flush.
To interest players on a daily basis, the network recently introduced the Weekly Missions. In this promotion, the player must perform single tasks every day and at the end of the week receives prizes and a ticket for a $5,000 freeroll.
Individual skins of the GG Network also have their own exclusive promotions. Most of them are aimed to attract recreational players — freerolls or tournament tickets for deposits.
GG Poker room offers its players a 25% reload bonus up to $100 every month (in October the bonus code is "OCT100"). The bonus expires after 90 days and gives 20% of rakeback.
Tournaments in GG Network
The network has a $100,000 monthly leaderboard for tournaments players; however, this year the prizes are only being paid in the form of tournament tickets.
MTT grid evolved this year; Red Series (Hyper turbo), Blue Series (turbo), Green (standard), Yellow (slow) and two Daily Main Events of $22 and $88 with guarantees of $3,000 and $20,000 respectively. On Sundays, a $500 High Roller tournament with $25,000GTD is played. Overlays are not uncommon in the network.
GG Network software
Smart HUD is the main innovation from GG network this year in terms of software. A built-in HUD available to all players shows real-time statistics about your opponents. Of course, is far from complex tools like Hand2Note, but it's a good help for regular players.
On the main lobby – "Home"–, a slider was added with current promotions and latest news, with three sections: promotions, tournaments and "Unique Features" which shows different features of the client.
In the cash games lobby new information was added:
- High stakes "Featured Table" (NL4k-NL20k, PLO4k-PLo20k, AoF1k, NL2k);
- New Hold'em and PLO tables with ante
Most importantly, with the past of the time and despite the official position of the network to support recreational players and its fight against the bumhunt, the cases of regular players banned were isolated. Our players are consistently winning in the GG Network rooms.
