GGPoker: over $700,000 in poker promotions in January 2020

The beginning of the new year and related holidays is the perfect excuse to attract new poker players with exciting promotions. The GG Poker Network is hosting three new monthly promotions with a total guaranteed prize pool of over $700,000 between December 30 and January 31. In this article, we share all the details of these promotions.

Rush & Cash $375,000

The rake race for fast-fold poker tables has been running since October 2019, when Rush & Cash switched its tables to USD. This new promotion starts from December 30 to January 31. The race will consist of five weekly leaderboards with $75,000 in prizes each. The rewards will be divided into four stakes of fast-fold poker.

Attention! Starting December 30, the scoring rules will change for the Rush & Cash race: now the points will be counted according to the number of raked hands played, and not for the amount of rake paid.

This crucial change gives equal conditions for Rush & Cash players with different PVI, which affects winning players at the fast-fold poker tables since December 2019.

Another significant change affects the payments for the NL50 stake — now, prizes will be awarded to TOP6 players again. Everything else, in early 2020, the Rush & Cash race will be similar to the latest editions.

$200k All-in or Fold Festival

In December 2019, GG Poker Network held a different promotion of AoF Players, a rake race that interested many regular players.

But from January 1 to January 31, 2020, a different kind of promotion will take place — a $200,000 All-in or Fold Festival, which focuses more on amateur players.

All AoF stakes will be divided into four levels:

Level 1 - NL1K$;
Level 2 - NL400$, PLO800$;
Level 3 - NL100$, PLO200$;
Level 4 - NL25$, PLO50$.

For playing 200 hands at each level, players will be automatically registered in a special lottery freeroll tournament — Daily AoF Festival Freeroll. The terms and conditions of the promotions allow players to qualify for more than one freeroll. The tournaments in the lobby can be found as:

Short Deck Hand Race

In the first month of the new year, 6+ Hold'em players will fight for a share of ¥1,000,000 (about $143,000) in the Short Deck Hand Race.

This promotion will be divided into four weekly leaderboards for different Short Deck stakes. A new race will start on January 1, 6, 13, 20, and 27. Points will be awarded according to the number of raked hands played.
