partypoker evolution in 2019
This year GVC Holdings is devoting significant resources to boost its poker room: partypoker. As Rob Yong stated in early April, the site has a plan to get back to the top of online poker rooms which includes becoming the most famous brand of live poker, improve the software (the next week the HUDs will be finally banned), and increase the tournament guarantees.
The KO Series is ongoing (and we spotted massive overlays last week), and POWERFEST was played last month. Also, another MILLIONS Online with $20M GTD was confirmed for December. For June 2019, partypoker just announced a new edition of the Monster Series (the last one was played in March) with a $2,5M prize pool.
About live poker, partypoker signed partnership contracts with the largest brands worldwide: Triton Poker, World Series of Poker, and WPT.
partypoker Monster Series in June 2019
A total of 108 tournaments with buy-ins from $1,1 up to $55 are scheduled from June 2nd to 9th at partypoker. Four Championship Events (from $2,20 to $55) are part of the tournament series and feature GTD prizes from $10,000 up to $200,000. During the last day of the series (June 9th), a PKO Championship Event will be held with a $200k GTD prize pool.

The Monster Series is defined as an event for players of all stakes, especially low ones, and that's why 55 events (50% of the total) have buy-ins less than $10. The rake of the events rounds 10%, which is higher compared to other series where usually the rake is only 4-5%. As usual, the bounty element will be rake free.
With this new Monster Series edition, partypoker has already held all its major events in 2019: POWERFEST, KO Series, The Big Game, Omaha Series, and MILLIONS Online are already confirmed. Only in June, we will be able to analyze the effects of the software policy changing with the restriction of support software and confirm if the overlays spotted during the KO Series were just a seasonal situation or an answer from the regs; in the meantime, our players can take advantage of the exclusive partypoker rakeback deal we offer.
