partypoker: New $100,000 Weekly Cash Game Leaderboards

partypoker continues its way to the top of the online poker market; recently announced a new regular weekly rake race — Cash Game Leaderboards, with a total weekly prize pool of $100,000 divided into eight sub-leaderboards.

partypoker actions in recent years could be called at least ambiguous. On the one hand, the site canceled the first deposit bonus, banned tracking software and HUDs, and limited the time an account is linked through an affiliate, indicating that the poker room wants to reduce the number of regulars. But, on the other hand, a classic rakeback system is applied in party, which mainly benefits grinders, and since the second half of 2019, regular races are consistently launched:

Fastforward leaderboards (fast-fold poker);
Diamond Club Elite Rake Race (for massive grinders).

In short, only the low and mid-stakes spins and cash games grinders didn't benefit from rake races so far. It is still unknown if a new promotion for spin players will be launched, but a unique event for cash grinders will soon begin, and according to the current trend, it is very likely to appear

Starting February 10, 2020, weekly Cash Game Leaderboards with $100,000 in prizes will begin for all cash tables.

Each leaderboard will run from Monday at 00:00 CET until Sunday at 23:59 CET;
All cash games, including NLH, NLH fastforward, Fixed Limit, Short Deck Hold'em, PLO fastforward, and PLO Hi/Lo count towards the promotion;
HU tables will not be considered for this event;
1 cashback point = 1 point;
Diamond Club and Diamond Club ELITE players won't take part in the promotion;
The prize pool will be divided into Hold'em and Omaha, and each format will have four leaderboards for different stakes.

Hopefully, this new promotion boosts traffic in all formats, especially 6+ Hold'em, where barely ten tables can be spotted during peak time.
