Gift for grinders
After canceling regular cash races, partypoker sank more than other competitors during spring in cash traffic. According to PokerScout, the site ranks only 10th and is outlasted by iPoker, Winning Poker Network, and 888 Poker.
To somehow keep grinders at the tables, in the first month of summer, the management came up with a simple solution:
From June 7 to July 6, 2021, partypoker cash tables players will be able to claim 10% extra cashback in addition to the loyalty program.
However, the promotion has several conditions:
- Only players with at least $600 in rake per week qualify for the bonus
- Only cash tables count
- Diamond Club members cannot participate in the promotion, but all other players are signed up automatically
- Payouts will be sent every Tuesday
Hence, only hardcore grinders will benefit from this promotion.
Back in February, we wrote that partypoker may well move forward in adding cryptos to their cashier to increase their popularity among players. In late May, the players of the room got a new option to deposit/withdraw cryptos, although not directly:
You can deposit or withdrawal to partypoker via BTC, ETH, LTC, but through MuchBetter e-wallet.
As the wallet is an intermediary, you have to pay an additional 2% fee to add funds to your account and then withdrawing the profits in the room to the crypto wallet. Naturally, to get decent limits for transfers, you need to pass verification.
New Hot Tables
Hot Tables, which replaced the cash races in March of this year, are still in test mode, and more recently, these cash drops were extended to $1/$2 tables.
According to partypoker, during the last 3 months, at least once a day, 30% of players won bonuses, but in two-thirds of such cases, the payout was only 1BB.
The total number of hands with Hot Tables during this time was 325,000. This number could seem important, but only 250 players have won a 500BB drop, being the only ones receiving decent value from it.
World Cup of Cards
partypoker continues to fulfill its role as the savior of live brands, which it assumed more than a year ago. In June, there will be another online series, which was supposed to occur this time in Canada.
So far, only two events in its schedule are known:
- Grand Prix Knockout: multi-day event with 26 flights from June 16 to 24. It will be divided into two tournaments, the first one with $50,000 GTD and a $5.5 buy-in, and the bigger one with $250,000 guaranteed for $55
- $1,000,000 Main Event, $1,100 buy-in. The first of its four starting flights kicks off on June 27.
Satellites for the ME are already available in the partypoker client. Three-level steps with buy-ins from $0.01 - $4.4 - $22 are held for the Sunday finals that guarantee 20 tickets valued at $1,100.
