In December 2020, KKPoker (a licensed club-based app) will host a $1,000 private rake race. The best 16 players will get a prize:
And for those who are undecided whether to join the room, we will host a unique freeroll on November 29, 13:00 EST:
- Prize pool: $200
- Where: WPD Club (ID 44461)
- When: Sunday, November 29, 13:00 EST
- Format: R/A for $1
- Starting stack: 3000 chips
- Blind structure: 5 minutes
SpinUp: structure and multipliers
KKPoker decided to use the same name as PPPoker — SpinUp — for its spin&go format. However, these tournaments are very different.
- Stakes: there are only three available: $0.5, $2, $5.
- Structure: it changes according to the buy-in, and it is more similar to classic spins.
- $0.5 SpinUp: 1,000 starting stack (20bb), blind structure 2 minutes.
- $2 and $5 SpinUp: 1,500 starting stack (30bb), blind structure 3 minutes.
There are only seven multipliers, and the maximum one is x10,000 instead of x1,000.
Compared to PPPoker, KKPoker SpinUp tournaments have a 1,5% more chance of getting an x2 multiplier (due to x5), and the maximum multiplier is ten times higher with the same probability.
Rake and traffic
There is no rake in the classical sense in these tournaments yet.
SpinUp fee is formed with the difference between the total prize pool and the number of buy-ins (hence the x2 probability is increased).
This fact makes these spins more profitable than in classic poker rooms. In the future, it is planned to introduce an 8% rake. This is a high number compared to competitors, but it will be more than compensated by our rakeback deal.
As for the SpinUp traffic, our scouts have reported the following:
- $0.5 buy-in — 10, 12 tables.
- $2 and $5 buy-in — 3,6 tables.
The number of tables available for registration with 1-2 players in the lobby is about the same, which is incredible for a new format in a purely mobile room with a table cap of 3.
KKPoker and Japan
Besides adding new formats, the room is engaged in promoting its brand by hosting live events. The next one will be held in Tokyo from November 28 to December 6. The KKPoker Live Tokyo Series will consist of eight tournaments with buy-ins up to $200.
This country was not chosen by chance. Japanese clubs were the first ones to be launched in the app.
The fact that KKPoker is interested in live tournaments proves that the owners are serious and should guarantee a healthy influx of new players worldwide.
