$10M GTD The High Five Series on Winning Poker Network

Features of the series

The US-friendly poker network WPN has established several tournament series with the time (The Venom, Online Super Series), which take place several times a year, but there is also a series that is always "tied" to the time of year. 

From April 1 to April 20, 2023, PokerKing, Americas Cardroom, and Black Chip Poker will host The High Five, guaranteeing $10,000,000 across 200 events.

The main novelty of the announced event is a twofold increase in the number of tournaments and the total guarantee while maintaining the timeframe. That is, now it will be possible to find not five but ten MTT of the Hi5 brand in the rooms daily.

• The minimum buy-in returned to the 2021 number and equals only $0.25.
• The central part of daily tournaments features entries of $6.6-100.
• On Wednesdays, two PLO5 Hi-Low events are scheduled (buy-ins from $22, $109, and $630, and guarantees up to $40,000).
• All other series events will be played in NLH with late registration of 2-5 hours and unlimited re-entries.
• Only two high-roller events ($1,050) are planned: 
  • April 10th, PLO $100K GTD 
  • April 20th, PKO $150K Rumble in the Jungle.
• The earliest events start at 17:00 European time. This is done for the convenience of players outside America.

Main Event

This time there is no millionaire event in the schedule of the series. But the Main Event remained the same.

Hi5 #154 Main Event $420,000 GTD for $420 starts on April 16.

Structure:

• The starting stack is 420,000 chips (210 BB).
• Blinds increase every 15 minutes (ante from level 1).
• 8-max tables.
• Late registration period of 5 hours with unlimited re-entries.

Two $630 events on April 2 and 20 guarantee $200K.
