Online Super Series Cub3d at Winning network
After struggling with the rollout of a new gaming platform, the US-facing network Winning announced a millionaire tournament series to recover those players that left due to the software issues. The Venom $5,000,000 GTD, the largest online tournament ever seen for a US poker network will be played on July 14th, and a massive satellite and advertising campaign is running since the beginning of the year; so far 120 players are registered for the tournament, and at least 2,000 players are needed to cover the guaranteed prize.
One week later a new edition of the Online Super Series Cub3d will start and in this case features a total GTD prize pool of $13,000,000, $5M more than the first edition held at the beginning of this year. One hundred sixty events are scheduled, and as usual, the series is divided into three parts by stake, so all players are welcomed to join the action.
- Mini OSS — 48 events with buy-ins from $2,2 to $109 until July 28th; the Main Event is the MOSS #42 $300,000 GTD, $88;
- OSS — 96 events with buy-ins from $5,5 to $1,050 until August 11th, having the Main Event the last day (OSS #92 OSS - MDS $1,000,000 GTD, $540);
- Bigger OSS — 25 events with buy-ins from $215 to $2,100 until August 18th; the Main Event will be played the last day of the series, BOSS #21- MDS $1,000,000 GTD.
The big question is if, after the fall of the traffic, the network will be able to attract enough players to cover the increased GTD prizes or if overlays will appear.
Summer Knockout Cup at Pokerdom
From July 5th to 14th the Russian network Pokerdom host 77 events with almost $160,000 (10,000,000 rubles) in GTD prizes. The Summer Knockout Cup has buy-ins from $1,6 to $160. The schedule includes not only NLH events but also PLO, Omaha Hi/Lo, 5 Card Omaha, Chinese Poker, and 6+ Hold'em, all in knockout format.
The main event kicks out on July 14th and features a $47 buy-in and $31,5k GTD in prizes. Two leaderboards will reward the best players of the series (the higher the place in the tournaments and the bigger the buy-in, the more points the player gets):

Indian Online Poker Championship (IOPC) at Spartan Poker
From July 14th Spartan Poker will be hosting the Indian Online Poker Championship, the most extensive tournament series in the history of online poker in India. $1,58M (11 Cr) GTD and 74 events are enough to draw the attention of poker players around the world, and our grinders are welcomed to join the action only by contacting our manager Juan.
The Main Event will be played from July 22nd until July 28th (six initial flights) and features a massive GTD prize pool of 2 Crore, almost $300k. IOPC is a great option to get familiar with Indian poker rooms which deliver terrific value for regs who don't get scared with the Indian TDS (in exclusive Worldpokerdeals offers a discount in the withdrawal tax).
Powerfest at partypoker
We confirmed the first Powerfest edition of the post-HUD era at partypoker a few weeks ago. The schedule was released, and a total GTD prize pool of $27M is the bet of partypoker to see if the players are still interested in massive tournament series without HUD or hand histories. Taking into account the last partypoker series, overlays can be expected at the tables.
