A new poker format
The portfolio can compete with any top-room, but the developers are still not satisfied:
On March 11, 2021, Upoker added 6+ Omaha tables to the Grand Lobby, available from any club.
It's unclear how long such tables will be there. Most likely, everything will depend on the level of popularity of this game.
What is 6+ Omaha?
However, as with other "new products," there was no remarkable creativity shown here.
6+ PLO is all the same Short Deck Hold'em (with a deck of 36 cards, a flush beating a full house, and aces used as a low card in straights), only played according to the rules Pot-Limit Omaha.
Due to the number of cards needed to play (twice as in Hold'em), this format is played at 5-max tables. The betting system is the same as in the classic 6+: all players pay a preflop ante. So far, Upoker has seven stakes available from $0,20 to $20.
Apparently, Upoker is not afraid of testing new games, as their strategy is to attract local players looking for exciting formats not available on other poker sites. 6+ Omaha should have a massive variance, but at the same time, it might charm fans.
