TOP 7 main novelties
Since the transition of PokerKing, Americas Cardroom, and Black Chip Poker clients to the new engine almost three years ago, all possible new options have been added to the room regularly, although their technical implementation sometimes isn't smooth. Also, undoubtedly WPN is trying to keep its software updated according to modern requirements.
Yesterday, the platform developers shared their 2022 roadmap, including seven major updates for this period.
- Enhanced mobile client: It's not shocking this item is at the top of the list. Unfortunately, the WPN mobile client only gives access to a few games, lacking behind many club-based apps and other sites. Although the network doesn't promise a re-engineering of their mobile platform, adding all tournaments and cash games to the browser version will already be a big step.

- Throwing emojis: Another attempt to keep up with the competition and entertain amateurs at the tables.
- Mixed Games: A format considered almost dead in the global pool but still a classic for Americans. Now it's very rare in regular rooms, and only club-based apps have announced the launch of mixed games last year.
- Ante in cash games: Most likely, like Bomb Pots, this won't apply to all tables, and such games will get a different tag in the lobby.
- All-in or Fold: The main question is whether the network will be able to provide enough players for another new format.
- Multitabling tools: After the end-of-life of WPN Tools Lite, such built-in features are a top desire for regs.
Also, a certain "statistics table display" is mentioned outside some numbering. It probably won't be a built-in HUD but more detailed information about the current game.
Conclusion
The list above shows that WPN isn't going to "invent the wheel" in 2022 and plans to add well-known and proven features to its client. Unless they surprise us with an advanced configuration for multitabling.
In fact, five of the seven updates are an attempt to please casual players, and 2022 will show how successful it will be. In any case, an increase in the number of amateurs at the tables won't hurt in a reg-flooded room.
