WPT Player of the Championship and other promotions at partypoker

Next week will begin the biggest series in partypoker history — WPT World Online Championships. Therefore, the site announced two leaderboards: Player of the Championship and Rising Star, for tournaments with different levels and buy-ins, and also launched a series of satellites for Championship Events.

WPT Player of the Championship and Rising Star Leaderboards

The guaranteed prize pool in WPT World Online Championships leaderboards will be $100,000:

Player of the Championship — $75,000: tournaments with buy-ins higher than $300 will count towards the promotion;
Rising Star — $25,000: the results of tournaments with a buy-in less than $300 (Micro Championships and side events) will be counted.

The best ten players in both leaderboards will get a prize as follows:

Points towards the leaderboards are calculated using a complex formula that considers the buy-in, the number of participants, and the final place (only ITM are counted). Moreover, only the top 10 results will be considered regardless of the number of events played.

Championship Events satellites

From July 12 to September 6, partypoker will host eight weeks of qualifying tournaments for all Championship tournaments.

From other qualifying tournaments, PP Live Passport phase tournaments are currently available in the partypoker client, starting at just $4,4. At the final level of $1,050 every Sunday, 15 tickets will be guaranteed for the $10,300 Main Event of the WPT World Online.
