Cloudbet Sportsbook Review

Author
Rodion Longa
Updated
7/31/2026

Cloudbet is one of the oldest crypto sportsbooks online, running since 2013. It books 40+ sports, runs a deep esports section, and prices its own odds in-house. It takes serious action and does not cut winning accounts: the Trade Execution Engine pushes oversized bets into global liquidity, so limits on major markets reach the millions.

Most recreational books do the opposite and quietly limit anyone who wins. And nothing in its reward system has a wagering requirement. No rollover, no locked balance.

It is not flawless, and there are a couple of trade-offs worth weighing before you deposit — we get to them further down, after the parts you came for.

Who is it for? A sharp or high-stakes bettor gets the best deal on the market here: real limits, no cutting of winning accounts, and a €1,000,000 max payout on a parlay. A recreational multi-punter is well served too, but the value is ongoing cash, not a big free bet at sign-up.

Cloudbet does not hand you one. And if you are in the US, UK, Australia or Germany, Cloudbet does not accept you at all. More on that below.

Start with what this offer is not. There is no traditional sports welcome bonus. No matched deposit, no free bet at sign-up, no bonus code.

Cloudbet gives you cash instead. The Welcome Package pays rewards sized by your play over your first 30 days, up to $2,500. After that, you get weekly cash drops on your sports betting.

None of it has a wagering requirement. Cash you are paid is cash you can withdraw.

That changes how you value it. A normal free bet or deposit match comes with arithmetic: how much you must turn over, and at what minimum odds, before it unlocks. Here there is nothing to clear, so there is no rollover cost to subtract.

The trade-off is simple. You get no lump of free money to swing at on day one. You also never chase a locked balance or forfeit one at the cashier.

For a regular bettor, the ongoing cash drops are worth more over a season than a one-off sign-up bonus. If you want a big free bet on day one, this is not that book. When a betting offer does carry terms, like a price boost or an acca refund, value it against the book's margin, not its face value. Treat a free bet that keeps only the winnings as worth about 70% of its face.

One more thing. Several pages ranking for this brand still show an old Cloudbet welcome deal that no longer runs. If you came expecting a big headline match, that is why. The offer above is the one on Cloudbet's own board.

Cloudbet Rewards, VIP and loyalty

The reward system is where the real ongoing value sits, and none of it carries a wagering requirement. Cloudbet Rewards runs eight tiers, set by your lifetime turnover. The tiers are permanent — they never reset or decay, so a burst of play keeps its value.

Casino play earns rakeback, paid on the house edge: 5% at the lower tiers, rising to 10% from Diamond up. Sports betting earns the weekly cash drops instead. Cash paid is cash you can withdraw.

TURBO lifts your rakeback ceiling for short windows you can re-trigger through the day, up to 25% at the top tier. Level-Up rewards pay a fixed cash lump at each new tier, from $15 at Silver to millions at the top, and they never expire. Both casino and sports turnover count toward levelling up.

Already a VIP somewhere else? The VIP Club lets you carry your status over, with a dedicated host who reviews your play and existing tier. It advertises up to 80% back on the house edge. Read that as a stacked ceiling across the rewards, not a flat rate you earn on every bet.

One line on the referral program: it pays 2.5% lifetime rakeback on players you bring in. That rewards recruiting, not your own betting, so keep it out of your own value math.

Odds and margins — how sharp is Cloudbet?

Here is the one number almost no Cloudbet review gives you: the margin. Every odds price has the book's cut built in. To find it, add up the implied chance of each outcome (one divided by each price) and see how far past 100% you land.

Take a two-way market priced 1.90 against 1.90. Each side implies about 52.6%, which sums to roughly 105%. So the margin is about 5%.

Lower is better for you, and it eats into every bet the way a slot's house edge does. It is the truest measure of whether a sportsbook is worth your action, and marketing pages never quote it.

So we measure it. We price the same fixed basket of markets on every book we review, then compare. As a rough guide, the sharpest books in the world run about 2–3% on the big two-way markets.

Recreational books run about 5–8%. Minor leagues, player props and outrights run much wider everywhere, so we never compare those against a headline match-odds figure.

We measured Cloudbet’s pre-match margin across three main markets for the Athletics vs Boston Red Sox MLB game. The Money Line odds of 2.45 and 1.60 produced a margin of 3.32%; the run line odds of 1.88 and 1.96 produced 4.21%; and the total odds of 1.95 and 1.90 produced 3.91%.

The average across these three markets was 3.81%, rounded to 3.8%. This placed Cloudbet above Pinnacle’s fixed benchmark of around 2.5%, just below Stake at around 4%, and below Bet365 at around 6%.

Limits, liquidity and the Trade Execution Engine

The question every serious bettor asks is not "what are the odds." It is "will they let me keep betting once I win." At most recreational books the answer is no. Win consistently and your maximum stake gets quietly cut to pennies. Cloudbet's answer is the opposite, and it is built into how the book works.

Its Trade Execution Engine, launched in early 2025, syndicates oversized bets into global betting liquidity instead of refusing them. In practice that means effective limits on major markets running into the millions, and a stated policy of not limiting or banning winning accounts. The maximum payout on a parlay is €1,000,000. For a high-stakes or value bettor, this is the single reason to use Cloudbet, and it is genuinely rare.

The honest boundary: this applies to liquid, major markets. Small or illiquid markets — obscure leagues, niche props — still carry their own ceilings, as they do everywhere, because there is nothing to syndicate them into. The engine raises the roof where the money is, not on every corner of the book.

During our testing in July 2026, we did not encounter any account-specific stake reductions, although our betting history was too limited to assess how Cloudbet treats consistently winning players. Maximum stakes varied by event, market and odds: for example, the betslip allowed $20 on one football selection and $1,300 on an MLB money line at odds of 1.65. Other selections may have considerably higher or lower limits.

Max Bets

What sports can I bet on?

Cloudbet sportsbook main page — sports list, live events and odds

Cloudbet runs 40+ sports. The mainstream ones are all there: football, tennis, basketball, American football, ice hockey, baseball, cricket. So are thinner markets like darts, snooker, table tennis and MMA.

Breadth is easy to advertise and hard to check. The number that matters is depth on the events people actually bet: how many markets sit on a marquee fixture, pre-match and in-play.

We manually tested Cloudbet’s market depth in both pre-match and live betting using two randomly selected matches. Maccabi Tel Aviv vs Sheriff Tiraspol offered 99 pre-match markets, while the live Sabah FC U20 vs Negeri Sembilan FC U20 match had seven. We would expect higher-profile events to offer a wider selection of markets, especially in live betting.

Esports

Cloudbet esports section — CS2, Dota 2, LoL, Valorant

Esports is where Cloudbet is strong, and most betting reviews skate over it. The book covers the majors: Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends and Valorant. You get match, map and round markets, in-play as well as pre-match.

If esports is why you are here, this is one of the better crypto books for it. We confirm the live-market depth on a running series.

Niche and specials

Beyond sport, Cloudbet carries the usual novelty and specials markets when big events are on. They come and go, they are a small part of the book, and they are worth one line rather than a section.

Bet types

Cloudbet Bet Builder — same-game parlays across sports

The last section was what you bet on. This is how you bet. Cloudbet covers the standard shapes: singles, accumulators and system bets.

It also books Asian handicaps and Asian totals, which mark it as a sharper book. The quick availability list sits in the Cool features box in the sidebar, from bet builder and cash out to betting exchange and spread betting. Two are worth a word here, because bettors filter on them.

Cloudbet is a fixed-odds book, not an exchange. And it does not hand out a free bet at sign-up; its rewards are cash instead.

Live betting, cash-out and streaming

Cloudbet in-play board with live scores and odds

In-play is a first-class part of Cloudbet, not an afterthought. Its Pulse live feed is one of the interface's better ideas: you see the book move in real time. Two things decide whether in-play is any good.

How many markets stay open once an event goes live, and how far the odds move against you at the moment you tap. We measure both rather than take them on trust.

Live margins run wider than pre-match everywhere, Cloudbet included. That is why the odds basket above takes one in-play snapshot: to put a number on the gap.

Cloudbet does offer cash-out, on selected pre-match and live markets, with partial cash-out included. It does not run on parlays or on every bet, since availability hangs on live liquidity. It is a margined feature: the book prices in its own cut when it buys your slip back, so treat it as a convenience with a cost, not a free option.

Deposits, withdrawals and KYC

Cloudbet is crypto-first: 29 coins, from Bitcoin and the big stablecoins down to a long tail of alts. Fiat exists but is thin. You get USD, EUR, CAD and JPY, and only through the Jeton and Vega e-wallets.

There are no direct card deposits. If you bet in fiat off a card, this is not your book.

Crypto minimums and fees from Cloudbet's own crypto-transaction-fees page, read July 29, 2026 — no deposit fee, a per-coin withdrawal minimum, a network fee on withdrawal. Fiat runs through Jeton and Vega; the $2,200 account cap applies until full KYC.

Two rules matter more than the coin list, and neither the marketing nor competitor pages mention them.

The first is a playthrough requirement. Before you can withdraw, you must bet 25% of your deposit in settled bets. If your account is unverified, it is 100%.

Cloudbet says the reason is anti-money-laundering. It is not a bonus condition. It applies to your own money, so factor it in if you planned a quick deposit and cash-out.

The second is verification. A phone-only account (Level 1) is capped at about $2,200 in total deposits and $2,200 a day in withdrawals. Full KYC (Level 2: photo ID, proof of address and a face check) removes both caps and leaves no daily withdrawal ceiling. The maximum payout on a single parlay is €1,000,000.

There is one failure mode to know about, and it comes straight from the complaint record. Cloudbet sometimes freezes a large balance for a "betting integrity review," now and then for weeks. It is not most withdrawals. But it is the pattern behind the loudest complaints, and it is why the high-stakes verdict below depends on getting fully verified before your bankroll arrives.

We deposited $10 in USDT on the Tron network, and the funds appeared in the account immediately. We placed a live tennis bet on Federico Agustin Gomez to beat Samuele Pieri at the ATP Challenger Bonn. Cloudbet accepted a stake of HUF 32 at decimal odds of 1.21, for a potential return of HUF 38.72. The Cash Out button was active, allowing us to settle the bet before the match ended.

When we checked the cashier later in the session, the unverified account showed 6.7100954 USDT wagered and 3.2899046 USDT remaining toward the 100% deposit playthrough requirement. No additional KYC was requested, but the balance left in the account was below the $5 minimum for a USDT withdrawal on Tron.

Usability and interface

Cloudbet soccer page — Full Time Result odds, competitions and the Pulse feed

Cloudbet is a fast web app that stays out of your way. Search and filters hold up when the book is busy, and the bet slip builds a multiple without a fight. The Pulse feed keeps live action visible, which most crypto books miss. It is a clean product to bet on.

Mobile app

There is no native iOS or Android app. Cloudbet runs as a mobile web app, a progressive web app you add to your home screen. It behaves much like an app.

For most bettors that is fine. If you want a store-listed app with push notifications, Cloudbet does not have one, and there is no App Store or Google Play listing.

Casino at Cloudbet

Cloudbet runs a full casino alongside the sportsbook: 2,900+ games, a live floor from Evolution, and 16 provably fair in-house Originals. The casino side is where the rakeback lives (5% rising to 10% of the house edge, no wagering). Sports betting earns the weekly cash drops instead.

It is a real two-in-one account, not a token afterthought. We cover the casino in full separately.

Customer support

Cloudbet runs 24/7 support over email and live chat. Channels are only half the story. What matters is how fast a real person replies, and whether that reply answers your question or returns a template. Advertised response times are not evidence, so we measure our own.

One caveat comes straight from the case databases. Operator responses there average about two days. And the pattern behind the loud complaints is support going quiet during an integrity hold, the moment a bettor most needs it. That is why the support score stays where it is until our own timed test lands.

We tested Cloudbet’s live chat by asking whether KYC was required before the first withdrawal. The AI assistant replied immediately and explained that full verification is not automatically required: Level 1 accounts are limited to $2,200 in cumulative deposits and $2,200 in daily withdrawals, while Level 2 verification removes both limits. The answer was clear, so we did not escalate the conversation to a human agent.

Is Cloudbet a safe sportsbook? Licence, owner and betting record

Short answer: yes, with eyes open. Cloudbet has run for thirteen years with no regulator action and no court case, on a licence that checks out. Its one recurring failure is holding large balances for review, not refusing to pay. Here is the detail, weighted by what counts.

Cloudbet is run by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. (Curaçao company no. 148526, Willemstad). Payments go through a Cyprus subsidiary, Solas Technologies Limited. It has been online since 2013, one of the first crypto sportsbooks.

Thirteen years running is itself worth something in a market where brands vanish between seasons. The licence is a Curaçao Gaming Authority B2C licence under the newer post-LOK regime. For a crypto sportsbook, that is a solid credential, and Cloudbet sits at the better end of the field. Recourse in a dispute is thinner than under a fiat regulator like the UK or Malta, but that is the norm for crypto books as a class, not a Cloudbet-specific weakness.

We ran the checks nobody else publishes. The licence number shows up as a live licence on the CGA's own register. The entity is not on the CGA's list of revoked licences.

There is no regulator fine, market ban, court case or known security breach against Cloudbet or Halcyon in thirteen years. On custody, the operator says deposits move to cold wallets, hot wallets hold little, withdrawals need several signatures, and customer funds are kept separate. That is stronger than the norm, and it is unaudited. Both halves belong on the page.

The adjudicated databases are the source worth reading, because they handle named disputes and record how each one ended. Cloudbet answers on the record, and the outcomes show a book that resolves.

SourceRatingComplaintsOutcome data
Casino Guru9.2 / 10 — "Very high"37 casesNone left unresolved (10 resolved · 27 rejected); read the terms and found nothing unfair or predatory
AskGamblers8.6 / 10 players (5 / 10 house)94 filed83 resolved · average dispute $29,255 · 2-day response, 7-day resolution
Regulator & blacklistsNo actionNo fine, market ban or court case in 13 years; licence live on the CGA register and absent from its enforcement list
Figures as published July 2026. Complaint volume tracks book size; the resolution rate is the number worth watching.

The average dispute runs about $29,000, so these are high-roller cases, not $50 bonus arguments. When Cloudbet fails, it fails on large accounts during an integrity hold — not by writing predatory terms.

One trust point flips the usual script. Because of the Trade Execution Engine, Cloudbet wants big action and does not limit winners. That is the opposite of the recreational-book pattern, and a real mark in its favour for a serious bettor.

During our time working with the sportsbook, we have received zero complaints about Cloudbet through WPD support. We are also not aware of any winning players we referred having their betting limits reduced or accounts restricted after winning. This conclusion is based solely on our own players and support records.

Trustpilot sits at 3.6/5 across a couple of thousand reviews. You will meet it before you meet us, so here is what it is worth. The profile is claimed, on a paid subscription, and Cloudbet asks customers for reviews.

An invited 3.6 is a softer number than an unsolicited one. Where the adjudicated case data and the review box disagree, the case data wins. We do not fold anyone else's rating into our score.

Sponsorships and ambassadors

Cloudbet spends where its bettors watch — combat sport above all. A club or a league only puts a gambling brand on its property after checking the company out, and spend on this scale says the operator expects to still be here next season. It says nothing about the licence, which is why it is one table and two sentences rather than a section.

One detail that belongs in the open: accrued rewards are forfeited the moment you self-exclude or take a cooling-off period. It is the operator's policy, and a player weighing a break should know the reward balance goes with it.

We checked Cloudbet’s responsible gambling controls in our active account. The cashier allows players to set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits; during our test, we entered a daily limit of HUF 10,000. The interface states that the limit applies to all future deposits, while existing deposits and bets remain unchanged. Cloudbet also offers a Cool-off option for 24 hours, seven days, one month or three months.

Limits

Restricted countries

Cloudbet bans an unusually long list of markets, including three of the biggest English-speaking betting nations. From its own terms, the blocked list includes:

  • AustraliaAustralia
  • AustriaAustria
  • BelgiumBelgium
  • ChinaChina
  • CubaCuba
  • CuraçaoCuraçao
  • FranceFrance
  • GermanyGermany
  • Hong KongHong Kong
  • IranIran

  • MyanmarMyanmar
  • NetherlandsNetherlands
  • North KoreaNorth Korea
  • SingaporeSingapore
  • SpainSpain
  • SyriaSyria
  • United KingdomUnited Kingdom
  • United States and its territoriesUnited States and its territories

Most of these are licensing decisions, not Cloudbet's opinion of the country.

If you are in a blocked market, this is not your book. Cloudbet's terms let it void bets and confiscate a balance placed from a banned country. A VPN is not a workaround.

It is a way to lose your funds. Our separate Cloudbet countries guide has the full jurisdiction table.

Pros and cons of betting at Cloudbet

What we like

  • Takes serious action and does not limit winning accounts — the rarest thing on this list
  • Effective limits in the millions on major markets; €1,000,000 max parlay payout
  • No wagering requirement anywhere in the reward system — cash is cash
  • Deep esports book, in-play as well as pre-match
  • Licence verifies on the Curaçao register; thirteen years with no regulator action
  • 29 coins and no withdrawal ceiling once you are verified

Moments to improve

  • Blocks the US, UK, Australia and Germany outright
  • A 25% playthrough applies to your own money before you can withdraw (100% unverified)
  • Large balances can be frozen for an integrity review, sometimes for weeks
  • No up-front free bet — the reward system is cash and casino-weighted
  • Fiat only through two e-wallets; no card deposits
  • No native app — mobile is a web app only

Verdict — who this is for and who should stay away

Cloudbet earns 4.2 out of 5 from us, the same as its casino and for the same reason. It has a clean thirteen-year record and a licence that checks out — a genuinely solid one for a crypto book. What keeps it from a higher score is the freeze-then-review pattern on big accounts, not the licence.

The high-stakes or sharp bettor gets the best deal on the market here. High limits, winners left to keep betting, and a €1,000,000 max payout are exactly what this segment cannot find at recreational books. There is one condition. Get fully verified before your bankroll arrives, so a large withdrawal never meets an integrity hold cold.

The recreational multi-punter is well served on odds and breadth. Come for the ongoing cash and the deep markets, not a sign-up bonus. Cloudbet does not hand you a free bet, and its rewards lean toward casino play.

The esports bettor is one of the best-served segments at Cloudbet, pre-match and in-play.

Look elsewhere if you are in the US, UK, Australia or Germany; if you want a big free bet on day one; or if you need card deposits or a native app.
