Stake obtained a license in Denmark

Stake continues its expansion into the European market

On February 18, 2026, Stake announced that it had obtained a license from the Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden). The platform is set to launch full operations in Denmark on March 1, 2026.

From that date, local players will be able to access Stake.dk and take advantage of the complete range of services, including sports betting and casino games. The company is also opening a new office in Copenhagen, located inside Parken Stadium,  the country’s main arena and home stadium of FC Copenhagen.

The Danish gambling market is regarded as one of the most strictly regulated in Europe. To secure approval, Stake had to comply with rigorous player protection rules, technical standards, and national legislation.

Ahead of its official launch, the company established local structures and operational processes to fully align with the requirements of the Danish regulator.
