Lucky Bun Poker Review

Lucky Bun Poker is a new South Korean online poker room on the Revolution Network, launched in 2024 and targeting the Asian market.

Lucky Bun Poker operates under a license from the Comoros Islands (Anjouan), and also operates via an agent-based access model, which is common among Asian poker apps.

The poker room offers Texas Hold'em and Pot-Limit Omaha cash games with limits up to $50/$100 (although action at these limits is extremely rare). Most of the player traffic comes from South Korea, but poker enthusiasts from other Asian countries, the US, and Europe also frequent the tables.

Rakeback and rakeback

Lucky Bun Poker doesn't have a bonus program, but our players receive a private rakeback deal. Details of the deal are available by contacting our support team.

Games and traffic

Lucky Bun Poker Games

LuckyBun Poker's peak activity occurs in the early evening (European time). During peak hours, the room typically hosts up to 150 players with around 20–25 cash tables running. Games are played in the room's in-house currency: 1,000 chips = $1 (1 chip = $0.001).

Note that all limits are displayed in chips.

The main traffic is concentrated at 6-max and 8-max Hold'em tables. Most active games take place at low and mid-limits, with high-limit action sporadic, mostly during peak hours.

Lucky Bun Poker’s tournament offering is currently very limited. The room hosts a daily freeroll with a prize pool of around $700, and on Sundays, up to $2,000. Other MTT formats are currently unavailable.

A Spin & Gold section is present in the client, but tournaments in this format are not yet available.

Is Lucky Bun Poker legit?

Lucky Bun Poker is owned by Z-Soft Ltd, registered in Belize and licensed in the Comoros Islands. The poker room's website features a screenshot of the RNG certificate from iTech Labs, but there's no direct link to the company's website.

As with any new poker site, we recommend following the basic rule: keep only enough funds in your account for a single session at your usual stakes.

Features of playing

Lucky Bun Poker has a number of rules and features that are important to keep in mind while playing to avoid losing some of your chips and properly manage your game balance.

This poker room has a rule that requires a player who is in profit to play at least 100 hands at the table before leaving. If a player leaves the table early, the system may withhold 20% of their current winnings. There is no time limit on this rule — a player can return at any time and play the required number of hands.

Instead of leaving the table, a player can join another table with the same limit. When re-entering, they have the option to select their previous stack, allowing them to continue playing without any additional withholdings.

Lucky Bun Poker app

Lucky Bun Poker Software

LuckyBun Poker uses its own software and runs in a browser — no downloading or installation required. The interface is available in English.

After registration, players are taken to the game and format selection screen, which leads to the cash game lobby. Tables are displayed as cards with basic information on limits, buy-ins, and number of players, and filters allow you to quickly select suitable games.

Multi-tabling is available, but with limitations —  up to five tables can be opened simultaneously per account. The set of settings is minimal: displaying stacks in chips or big blinds, choosing a theme and deck of cards, and disabling sounds and emotes which is typical for browser-based online poker rooms.

Third-party poker trackers are not supported, but built-in basic statistics (VPIP, PFR, 3Bet, ATS, Participation Win Rate) for the past 30 days are available by clicking on the player's avatar.

Using a VPN while playing is allowed.

How to get chips

Lucky Bun Poker operates on an agent model, where deposits, withdrawals, and chip balances are managed through an assigned agent. After creating an account, players gain access to the poker room, and their balance is managed in the room's currency.

The room uses a fixed exchange rate: 1,000 chips = $1 (1 chip = $0.001). All limits, buy-ins, and stack sizes are displayed in chips, which is important to consider when choosing tables and calculating bets.

Please contact our support team to get more information about deposits and withdrawals.

Pros and cons of playing at LuckyBun Poker

What we like

  • New poker room from South Korea
  • Weak field
  • WPD rakeback deal
  • NL100-$500 play
  • Agent cashier

Things to improve

  • A no-name poker room with no reputation
  • Browser client

Lucky Bun Poker is a young poker room primarily aimed at players looking for soft Asian Hold'em cash games. The action is primarily focused on NLH, while PLO and tournaments are offered more as an additional option.

The poker room operates on an agent-based model, which simplifies deposits, withdrawals, and rakeback, but requires some understanding of the specifics of this format.
