Real Poker Review

Real Poker — is a new Indian online poker room launched in 2018 that belongs to the company Grasp Gaming; the offices are located in Bengaluru, India.

Unlike other Indian poker rooms, No Limit Texas Hold'em is very popular at the room and actually, no Omaha tables are visible in the lobby. Sit&Go and MTT are also played at the room.

Real Poker is strongly focused on drawing the attention of Indian recreational players, having a no deposit bonus of 1,000 rupees and several freeroll tournament both for depositors and no-deposit players.

Playing for real money at Real Poker is only available to poker players living in India, and withdrawals over $140 (9999 Rs.) are subject to a 30% government tax.

All S&G in Real Poker have a turbo and hyper-turbo structure and buy-ins range from 50INR to 1250INR. On the higher stakes usually, 5 tournaments are played.

The MTT grid is composed also by freeroll tournaments with 1kINR GTD (which is usually played by 80 people) and daily tournaments with 30kINR GTD with a buy-in of 300 Rs (The Rupee 300).

Real Poker uses its own software which is not the best in its class.

Windows and web browser version are available, although both versions look the same to us.

The software is buggy and sometimes requires login again for no apparent reason.

In order to play in multiple at the same time, the web-browser client must be used (no multi-tabling is possible via Windows client, but again, both versions are the same one) and open as many windows as tables needed.

Active tables can be observed without sitting in (observer mode) and waiting lists are available.

Support and tracking software are forbidden by Real Poker.

Deposit and withdrawal methods

Razorpay, Paytm, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are accepted in Real Poker as deposit methods.

Withdrawals are processed only via bank transfer to Indian accounts. A 30% TDS (tax deducted at source) is applied to any cashout over 9999 Rs. approximately $140.

A minimum of 1 rupee paid in rake is required to process cashouts and can only be requested after 7 days of making the first deposit (no withdrawal is possible without a deposit).

Only 1 withdrawal is allowed in 24 hours and the processing time is usually the same. The minimum withdrawal is 200 Rs.

Benefits

Real Poker is a good option for beginners due to the no deposit bonus available. 

Poker pros will enjoy the soft traffic, but the software may cause some inconveniences while playing. The rewards program of Real Poker is unclear (for example, is not stated how much rake is needed in order to level up) but the first deposit bonus and the rewards are good.
