Schedule of Trophy event Asian Poker Tour Online

Main Event

The schedule features two Main Event tournaments.

#14: APT Mini Main Event, $80 buy-in, $1M GTD.

Day 1 flights begin on October 18. Day 2 starts on October 25 at 13:05 UTC. Each flight follows this structure:

• Starting stack: 10,000 chips (100 BB).
• Blind levels: 10 minutes.
• Late registration with unlimited re-entries: 12 levels.

#20: APT Main Event, $5M GTD for $800

Day 1 begins on October 11. Day 2 starts on November 1 at 13:05 UTC. Each flight has the following structure:

• Starting stack: 50,000 chips (200 BB).
• Blind levels: 15 minutes.
• Late registration with unlimited re-entries: 13 levels.

In both tournaments, the top 10% of registered players advance to Day 2. If a participant qualifies through multiple starting flights, only their largest stack is taken into consideration.

Players can qualify for Day 1 of the $5 million GTD Main Event through daily $80 satellites.

$100K Freeroll

After the series ends, GGPoker will host a $100,000 freeroll on November 7, awarding tickets to live APT Championship events.

Players’ starting stacks will depend on their level of activity during Asian Poker Tour Online. Each Trophy Event they enter adds 1,000 chips to their starting stack (re-entries don’t count)

Asian Poker Tour Online: our opinion

APT Online, alongside the APL Championship (also hosted by GGPoker), is one of the largest online series for players from Asia. The schedule is specifically tailored to them, featuring events with buy-ins and guarantees in local currencies,  and the tournaments that kick off in the evening, Southeast Asia time.

Of course, this doesn't mean the series has nothing to offer players from other regions. Here are some of the key highlights of APT Online:

• Player pool level: The tournaments attract many amateurs, particularly from Asia.
• An extensive schedule with a wide range of buy-ins to suit various bankrolls, plus satellites available for major events.
• Additional promotions offering the chance to win tickets to live APT Championship series tournaments.
• Only the largest stack advances from the starting flights to the Main Event final; this means grinders who play multiple Day 1s don’t gain a massive stack advantage for Day 2, unlike scenarios where stacks from different flights are combined.

Keep in mind, however, that playing almost any APT Online event is a high-variance marathon. Be prepared for very long sessions and a fair share of bad beats.
