Features of satellite sites

Two satellites will run daily on GGPoker, starting at 18:00 and 23:00 UTC. 

1. WSOP SC Punta Cana satellite with a $500 buy-in and a guarantee of one package valued at $6,500. On Sundays, the guarantee is increased to 5 packages.
2. WSOP SC Punta Cana satellite with a $215 buy-in and a guarantee of one package valued at $6,500. On Sundays, the guarantee is increased to 3 packages.

The package includes a $3,500 buy-in to the WSOP Super Circuit LATAM Main Event, which comes with a $2,000,000 guarantee (credited to the WSOP Live app account), and an all-inclusive stay at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Winners will also receive $2,000 in Resort Credit, which can be used to pay for selected hotel services and entertainment.

The live tournament kicks off on January 28, 2027. WSOP Super Circuit LATAM 2027 will mark the series' first stage in Latin America. The festival will also make its debut at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana, a venue that has never hosted an official WSOP event before.

The structure of the satellites is as follows:

• Starting stack — 10,000 chips (100 BB).
• Blind levels — every 10 minutes.
• Late registration with unlimited re-entries — 11 levels.
• Table — 8-max.

Players who accumulate a stack of 140,000 chips (in a $500 satellite) or 320,000 chips (in a $200 satellite) automatically receive a package from the tournament prize pool.

Throughout the day, there are "step" events leading up to the final satellites, starting with freerolls.

• Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from the event venue. Flight tickets and airport transfers are not included in the package.

• Accommodation is provided for 10 nights in a double room for the player and one accompanying person. These special accommodation terms apply only when booking the full 10-night period.
• In addition, the package includes hotel credits of $200 per day, totaling $2,000 for a 10-night stay. The player is responsible for paying the $1,000 hotel service fee for the entire duration of their stay.
• The $3,000 accommodation amount will be transferred directly to the hotel once the player has confirmed their participation and the booking process is complete.
• Winners of final satellites may choose to receive $1,428 in tournament dollars (T$)   instead of a ticket to the target tournament.
• Tournament tickets and packages are non-transferable.

Our opinion: What are the main advantages of online satellites for the ME WSOP-SC LATAM

GGPoker has thoroughly prepared for the upcoming WSOP series in Latin America. The poker room will award a total of 168 packages to the WSOP Super Circuit LATAM Main Event, which features a $2 million guarantee. The only time GGPoker sent more players to a WSOP event was during the summer series in Las Vegas.

Here are the key advantages of the online satellite series:

• Two final satellites take place daily. At least two packages, each valued at $6,500, are awarded every single day. On Sundays, the total guarantee increases to 8 packages.
• Low entry threshold. Players can reach the final satellites through qualifying steps starting at $3 and $5, as well as via freerolls with $1 rebuys.
• A short qualification path. To reach the final, participants only need to progress through two steps: $5 → $50 → $500 or $3 → $25 → $215.
• An opportunity to win a package without a large financial investment. Freerolls offer a way to earn tickets for subsequent stages of the qualification process.

The only drawback to keep in mind is that the package is non-transferable. Therefore, you should only enter the satellites if you are certain you can travel to Punta Cana in late January 2027. Also, note that airfare, transfers, and the hotel's $1,000 service fee are not covered by the package and should be paid separately.
