From June 28 to July 20, 2026, Stake Poker will host the World KO Championship, a dedicated tournament series with more than $1 million in guaranteed prize money. The schedule will consist exclusively of bounty events.

The largest events:

  • WKC PKO and Mystery Bounty tournaments with $10K guarantees and $20 buy-ins will be held daily.
  • $20 Mystery Bounty Main Event $100K GTD is conducted in a phased format. 15% of players from each phase will advance to the combined day. Multiple phases can be played, but only the highest stack will advance to the combined day (July 20).
  • $50 Mystery Bounty Special $20K GTD: July 18.
  • $30 Bye Day Specials PKO $135K+ GTD: July 8, 12, 13, 16, and 17 (during the World Championship off-day). Each goal at the World Championship increases the tournament guarantee by $500.

The rest of the schedule features MTTs in the Speed Run PKO, Deepstack Turbo, and Big KO Turbo formats, with guarantees ranging from $1K to $5K and buy-ins $5-$20. Three to four of these tournaments run every day.

To quickly locate the events, simply enter "WKC" in the Stake Poker tournament lobby.

We believe the World KO Championship series could be particularly appealing to low-stakes tournament players for several reasons:

  • Weak field. Stake Poker has a large casino and sports betting scene.
  • Guarantees are larger than in regular MTTs, greatly increasing the likelihood of overlays, especially in flagship tournaments.

Thanks to the World Cup goals promotion, the guaranteed prize pool for the Bye Day events could grow to more than $135K. For comparison, Stake Poker's regular schedule currently doesn't feature any MTTs with guarantees above $2,000, and those tournaments typically attract fields of no more than 100 players.
