C$3,500,000 GTD WPT Montreal Championship Festival

Features of the series
From May 9 to 22, 2024, the Playground Casino in Montreal will host a stop of the World Poker Tour series, which guarantees $3,500,000 in Canadian dollars across 13 events.
- Buy-in ranges from C$180 to C$3,500.
- All tournaments in the series feature guaranteed prize pools from C$25,000 to C$2,000,000.
- There are three multi-day headlining events on the schedule.
The last time the festival visited Montreal was in 2019. WPT CEO Adam Pliska said the following about this:
"It's a huge success that WPT is returning to the Playground. We are looking forward to meeting our players in Canada. We have a lot of different events on our schedule with different entries and big guarantees."
You can qualify for the WPT500, WPT Prime and WPT Championship through the online satellites of the WPT Global poker room.
Headlining tournaments
The organizers added three main tournaments to the schedule:
- WPT Montreal Championship: C$2,000,000 GTD for C$3,500, with three starting flights from May 16 and the televised final table on May 22*.
- WPT Prime C$1,000,000 for C$1,150 with four Day 1s from May 12 and a televised final table on May 21.
- WPT500 for C$590 with six starting flights from May 9 and the final day on May 12.
*With live streaming of WPT channels on YouTube and Twitch.
