Panda Poker review
Panda Poker is one of the largest Chinese mobile poker rooms, and belongs to the 1PokerStars network (composed of other rooms such as No1Poker, RealPoker, 1Pokerstars). Because it focuses only on the Chinese market and that third-party software is prohibited, the Panda Poker lineups are extremely weak; the action starts at NL60$ up to NL3k$.
Panda Poker charges a very low rake compared to other Chinese poker rooms (3% instead of 5%), and the players create the accounts themselves.
Panda Poker fits NLH players with a background in Chinese mobile applications and looking for full ring tables, which are ready to sacrifice HUD for the sake of a weak field at medium and high stakes.
Panda Poker doesn't use the club system; therefore, the entire pool of tables is visible in the lobby. As usual, the peak of traffic occurs during the nights in Asia (afternoons in Europe and mid-day in America).
The currency at the Panda Poker tables is CNY ($1 = 7.09CNY in October 2019).
Almost all tables are played in NLH 9-max format with ante and straddle. On peak hours the number of tables is as follows:
- 1/2(4) NL60$ - 23;
- 2/4(8) NL120$ – 14;
- 5/10(20) NL250$ – 8;
- 10/20(40) NL500$ - 6.
A few high stakes tables (NL1k$ to NL3k$) can be seen late at night.
Omaha is played at Panda Poker in 7-max format and the number of tables on peak time is as follows:
- 1/2 (4) PLO60 $ - 8;
- 2/4 (8) PLO120 $ - 10.
The Panda Poker client is very similar to the one used by other Chinese mobile poker applications. The application is only available in Chinese, but our players receive clear instructions in English to register, process deposits and withdrawals, and play at the poker room.
In the main lobby, players get direct access to the list of tables and filters.
Players can customize the theme of the table and the deck, and there are four stats available for villains: number of hands, VPIP, WTSD, and winning percentage.
The use of any third-party software in Panda Poker is prohibited.
Our manager processes all transactions at Panda Poker (deposits, withdrawals). As usual, Skrill, Neteller, and BTC are available to our players. There is no money guarantee at Panda Poker.
A small fee is charged to each withdrawal. Our manager will confirm the current rate via Skype or Telegram.
Panda Poker is a good addition for mid-stakes players already grinding (or with some experience) at any other Chinese mobile poker rooms.
The games remain incredibly soft, as support software is prohibited, and not many euro-affiliates grant access to the poker room. As we cannot offer a money guarantee, we recommend that our players request withdrawals regularly.
