PokerPlanets Review
PokerPlanets is a new online poker room that was launched in May 2025. PokerPlanets received its player base from PokerStars Sochi. Therefore, from the start, the poker room already has a good traffic of players from Russia: 10-15 tables at low and medium limits in the evening.
There are their own versions of Fast Poker (Teleport) and Spins (Spin&Win). You can play Omaha in 4- and 5-card versions. And this is only at the beta test stage.

Before the official launch of the poker room, we conducted a study of PokerPlanets to share with you whether this poker room deserves attention. Terms:
- The bonus code must be selected in the drop-down menu in the cashier. It is possible to activate the bonus after a deposit within 60 days through the customer support service.
- 1 point is awarded for 1 cent of rake, i.e. a bonus of 100% up to $600 gives 25% rakeback.

Terms:
- 1 point is awarded for every 1 cent of rake.
- The player has 28 days to collect points to receive one chest. If the player does not have time to do this, then a rollback to the previous PokerPlanets Rewards level will occur.

Games and traffic
PokerPlanets is a young online poker site in beta testing, so there are not many games yet. Most active tables gather late in the evening, European time. The total number of connections in the cash at peak hours is no more than 100, almost all of them are at 6-max Hold'em tables with stakes from $0.01/$0.02 to $0.10/$0.25.
Cash games
The following tables are available for play in the PokerPlanets client:
- Hold'em for 6, 7 and 8 players with stakes from $0.01/0.02 to $2.5/5.

PokerPlanets software
PokerPlanets runs on Evenbet software. So far, players have access only to applications for PCs on Windows and MacOS. Mobile applications for Android and iOS are in development.
The client is made in black, supports Russian and English.
The top menu contains the cashier buttons, player profile and the PokerPlanets Rewards chest points scale.
PokerPlanets has a “Seat me” option, meaning that players do not see individual tables in the client, but only a list of limits with the number of connections. Seating at tables is random.
The minimum seating is 50BB.
Players can change the appearance of tables using the proposed themes and select the following options in the settings:

- All-in insurance
- Run it Twice
- Straddle.
PokerPlanets does not allow the use of any third-party poker software, including trackers. However, a built-in Head-up Display is available with the following stats:

Statistics are only relevant for a specific table. Better than nothing.

Is PokerPlanets legit?
Like any new poker site without a history of at least a couple of years, PokerPlanets still raises some questions about its reliability.
The PokerPlanets website states that “the project is backed by a team with many years of experience in the online poker and gaming industry.” Connections with casinos in the Sochi gambling zone also add to the poker room’s reliability level..
PokerPlanets operates under the Curacao license OGL/2024/1469/0855, which is standard practice for most poker rooms
Although the Curacao license is considered less strict compared to European regulators such as MGA (Malta) or UKGC (United Kingdom), PokerPlanets maintains high standards of security and fairness: SLL encryption, RNG software from Evenbet is certified by iTech Labs.
However, as with any new site, we recommend PokerPlanets players to adhere to basic security measures:
- Do not keep more funds in the cashier than is necessary for one session at the working limit.
- Go through verification immediately and check the withdrawal of funds.
Deposits and withdrawals

You can open an account at PokerPlanets in US dollars or other currencies of the CIS countries. It is best if the currency of the account in the poker room and in your payment system matches.
Verification
Verification is a mandatory condition for withdrawing funds from the poker room. To do this, click on the nickname in the top menu of the poker room client and click the “Verify” button in the new window.
After this, you will need to upload copies of documents confirming:
- Player's identity (passport or driver's license)
- Residential address (receipts for payment of utility bills, bank statement). The document must be issued no more than 3 months before the verification date.
