Tonybet Poker — is an independent online poker room founded in 2009 by Antanas "Tony G" Guoga. The history of the site goes back to 2003 when Tony G bought the Omnibet sportsbook, and in 2009 rebranded it to Tonybet. In 2016 the Betsson Group bought Tonybet for 6 million euros.

Besides poker, Tonybet also offers casino games and sports betting.

The company is headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania. Tonybet is considered the first global open-face Chinese poker (OFC) site, for focusing on offering this format instead of the traditional Hold 'em and Omaha.

Tonybet rake structure

Tonybet Poker uses a no flop-no drop policy, and the rake is counted using the weighted contributed method. Hold 'em and Omaha games have a fixed 5% rake capped at €4.

OFC has a very low 1% fee with caps from €2 up to €10. Only the player who wins the hand pays rake.

The rake in tournaments is 7%, and Monster Spins is 5%, one of the lowest on the market.

Is Tonybet legit?

Tonybet holds several gambling licenses:

1. United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC), active license no sanctions, reference 39126;
2. Estonia Tax and Customs Board, Osaühing Tonybet, active gaming license for online and sports betting.

The site is highly promoted in Lithuania and has many stores in the Baltics. In 2017 Tonybet left the Australian market due to highly restrictive regulation.
