The largest poker series in Latin America, the Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP), has a new partner. A cooperation agreement was signed between the BSOP and the international gaming platform Vbet.
The Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) signed an important cooperation agreement with the international gaming platform Vbet. As part of the deal, Vbet became the main sponsor of the series.
Vbet opened its doors in 2003 in Armenia as a local betting platform and is now a large conglomerate with its own gaming and betting platform that combines sports events, casinos, and poker.
In February 2025, the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets (SPA) included Vbet as a licensed betting platform in Brazil. The company also holds licenses in Curaçao, Malta, Sweden, and the UKGC. Vbet is also a partner of the Botafogo football club.
The BSOP has been played in various cities in Brazil since 2008 and has become the most famous poker brand in Latin America.
Devanir Campos, a representative of BSOP, said that Vbet's investment would have a significant impact on the Brazilian poker and betting market:
"This is one of the largest poker partnerships in the history of live poker, and it will certainly help develop one of the most prominent markets in the world. This partnership will allow us to organize larger events."
Vbet representatives agreed with Devanir and mentioned that the new partnership will strengthen both brands in Brazil and Latin America.
The first series of this partnership was played in São Paulo from March 13th to 19th. Vbet hosted a R$100,000 raffle for players on its platform who registered for three events at the stop.
The website vbet.br is reportedly developing its own poker platform. The launch of this room will be important for the market and allow locals to visit the BSOP through online satellites.
