PLO Series Tournament with a $20,000,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool at GGPoker

From August 2nd to 17th, 2026, GGPoker will host the PLO Series, featuring hundreds of Omaha tournaments on the schedule and a total guarantee of over $20,000,000.

Features of the series:

  1. Buy-ins range from $15 to $10,000, with most MTTs priced at $525 or less.
  2. PLO Series tournament guarantees range from $10K to $1M, but the schedule most often features events with prize pools between $15K and $75K.
  3. The schedule is divided into roughly equal daily blocks. On Sundays, the number of tournaments increases to 26, including seven events with guarantees of at least $100,000.
  4. The most expensive Sunday tournament is the $10K PLO Sunday Super HR with a $500K guarantee. A similar tournament runs Monday through Saturday with a $100K guarantee.
  5. The three largest PLO Series tournaments are multi-day events: two Main Events with buy-ins of $215 and $25, as well as a PLO Bounty High Roller with a $1M guarantee and a $2,100 buy-in.
  6. The top players in the series will share an additional $200,000 in prize money in a special leaderboard.

GGPoker organizes all PLO Series events within a dedicated tab in the tournament menu. Players looking to qualify can access the available satellites through the "Satellites" tab in tournament's lobby.

Main Event

The $215 PLO Mystery Bounty Main Event features a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Day 1 flights will run through August 10. Players who advance from multiple flights will have all stacks combined for the final day.

Structure of the flights:

  • Starting stack: 25,000 chips (125BB).
  • Blinds grow every 12 minutes.
  • Late registration with unlimited re-entries – 10 levels.
  • The stage ends when 10% of registered players remain at the tables.

The Final Stage starts on August 10th at 19:00 UTC. Bounty payouts will begin only on Day 2. The maximum bounty is $100,000.

Mini Main

The $25 PLO Mystery Bounty Mini Main Event features a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Stage 1 flights run through August 3. Players who qualify in multiple flights will have all of their stacks combined for the Final Day.

Structure of flights:

  • Starting stack: 10,000 chips (100BB).
  • Blinds grow every 10 minutes.
  • Late registration with unlimited re-entries – 10 levels.

The Final Stage starts on August 3 at 19:00 UTC. Bounty payouts will begin only on Day 2. The maximum bounty is $50,000.

Leaderboard

An additional $200,000 will be distributed through the PLO Series Leaderboard.

Leaderboard points are calculated using the following formula:

Log (Prize pool) / √ (Finishing position / Number of entries).

Pros and Cons of PLO Series: WPD's Opinion

The GGPoker PLO Series is not only the largest tournament festival dedicated exclusively to Omaha, but also the only recurring online series focused entirely on the format. Other poker rooms include only a handful of PLO events as part of their primarily Hold'em schedules.

As a result, the PLO Series is the premier destination for tournament Omaha players looking to compete for the highest possible guarantees. The schedule is also player-friendly, with tournaments running between 13:10 and 23:10 UTC, making the series accessible across a wide range of time zones.

Buy-ins begin at $15, although the majority of events cost $54 or more to enter. Players with smaller bankrolls may therefore find satellites to be the most practical route into the larger events.

This edition also marks the first Omaha series in which GGPoker has completely dropped the mixed betting structure that used pot-limit preflop and no-limit postflop. We believe this will make playing PLO Series tournaments more familiar and will eliminate the need for players to adjust their strategy.

The biggest downside of the PLO Series is the size of its player pool. Festival events typically attract far more entrants than regular PLO tournaments, increasing variance and making deep runs more difficult. In addition, many tournaments last five to eight hours, demanding sustained focus and endurance from participants.
