Win a Porsche Macan in the WPT Global

Tournament Features

The WPT Global Porsche Macan Race to Glory is a multi-day event. Day 2 starts on March 13 at 12:00 GMT.

Prizes:

There are two ways to qualify for the final: through one of the seven Day 1 flights with a $1,100 buy-in or by winning a ticket through the Porsche Last Chance Qualifier.

Day 1 structure (starting daily from March 6 to 12 at 12:00 GMT):

• Starting stack: 100,000 chips (400 BB).
• Blinds increase every 15 minutes.
• Late registration with reentry is allowed throughout 13 levels.
• The game continues until 15% of the total number of players remain or level 14 is reached.

A player can participate in any number of Day 1 flights. If a player qualifies for Day 2 multiple times, only their largest stack will be carried over to the final. For each additional qualification with a smaller stack, the player will receive a $1,100 ticket.

Race to Glory

Starting September 1, 2026, WPT Global will host a six-month race in which players can earn tickets to the Porsche Last Chance Qualifier.

One ticket can be obtained for 1,000 Season Points (SP). Players can earn a maximum of two Porsche Chase Tickets per month and no more than 12 throughout the entire promotion. Season Points don’t expire at the end of each month.

SP are awarded for playing poker and casino games at WPT Global.

Poker Championship

Tournament results award the following SP:

Additional points are awarded for the game itself:

• 5 points for every $100 buy-ins in tournaments or cash games (maximum 50 points per day).
• 5 points for the first tournament played of the day.
• 10 points for every 100 hands played in cash games, provided there are at least three players at the table.

Casino Race

The casino race is more straightforward: players earn 5 points for every $100 wagered on live casino games and slots.

There is no daily limit, so players need to wager $20,000 to earn one Porsche Chase Ticket. To obtain the maximum of two tickets per month, players have to wager $40,000.

Players can participate in both the Poker Championship and the Casino Race simultaneously.

Additional Season Points

Every month, WPT Global awards additional Season Points to the top players in the two rankings.

In the Poker Championship, the top 10 players receive prizes:

• 1st place - 1,000 Season Points
• 2nd - 800
• 3rd - 600
• 4th–10th — 300 each

In the Casino Race, the top three participants receive prizes:

• 1st place - 1,000 Season Points
• 2nd - 800
• 3rd - 600

The winner of each of the two monthly leaderboards receives a Porsche Key Fragment and a physical collectible card. Collecting six fragments earns a package to the WPT Asia Live Main Event. An alternative route is to win one of the two leaderboards for three consecutive months.

Our opinion on the WPT Global Porsche Macan Race to Glory

In our view, WPT Global has come up with a genuinely original promotion that stands out from the usual poker promos. Car giveaways are not a new concept: one of the most famous promotions of this kind was the PokerStars Lamborghini Freeroll in 2010, which featured a Lamborghini supercar worth around $200,000 as the top prize.

It is worth noting that this promotion is primarily aimed at regular grinders and players with a bankroll sufficient to afford the $1,100 direct buy-in. Season Points can be earned by playing tournaments and generating volume in cash games. Another particularly important feature is that Season Points don’t expire at the end of each month. Instead, they can be used to obtain tickets to the Porsche Last Chance Qualifier and remain valid until the promotion ends.

However, entering the Last Chance Qualifier doesn’t guarantee a spot in the final tournament, which features $264,500 in total prizes. Players who collect all 12 tickets will have the best chance of making it to the final, but doing so will require playing for virtually the entire six months of the Race to Glory.
