Bad Beat Jackpot on the Chico Poker Network
Bad Beat Jackpot in the US-friendly Chico Poker Network poker rooms is active at Hold'em and Omaha tables, although it has different rules depending on the bet size. In this article, you'll discover all the features of the jackpot.
Jackpot Rules
The Bad Beat Jackpot has been active at regular NL100 tables on the Chico Poker Network (Tigergaming, Betonline Poker, and SportsBetting Poker) for many years. In 2023, the bonus changed radically and was expanded to all Hold'em and 4-card Omaha tables.
Key Features of the NLH Jackpot:
- Available at all No Limit Hold'em cash tables: regular and Boost
- The prize pool is independent for each limit
- Triggered by losing with a combination of AAAKK or better in NL10-200 and a full house AAATT in NL500-1k
PLO rules:
- Available only in regular PLO4 (does not work in Hi/Lo)
- The prize pool is divided into Low ($10-$50), Mid ($100-$200), and High ($500-$1,000) limits
- Triggered by losing with 7777x or better in PLO10-50 and 6666x in PLO100-1k
Regardless of the format, at least four players must be active at the table to trigger the jackpot, and both hole cards must be used.

A fixed amount is deducted from a portion of the pot at each limit. The maximum amount is determined by the cap. If the pot size is less than the amount indicated on the table, no fees are charged to the jackpot fund.
The actual pot size is rounded to match. Therefore, if, for example, there is a $47 pot at NL100, $0.80 will be deducted for the Bad Beat Jackpot 2.0.
Payout Distribution
If the jackpot is triggered at any of the tables, the prize pool indicated above is distributed as follows:
- 20% - to the loser of the hand.
- 10% — to the winner of the hand.
- 10% — to the rest of the players at the table.
- 20% — to all players of this limit for BBJ-tables.
- 35% — go to the next jackpot.
- 5% — room fee.
