Drake “Sweet4U” Kemper Gets Bahamas Package with Circuit Ring after X Debate

Poker player Drake “Sweet4U” Kemper won a WSOP Online Circuit event on WSOP.com for $21,000 last month. However, his celebration was soured when he received his winner’s package in the mail.

He did get his shiny WSOP Circuit ring. But something was still missing: he received no $5,000 live tournament “invitation package”’ as originally advertised by the WSOP, to the WSOP Paradise in the Bahamas.

According to his X post, he was informed that online WSOP Circuit events do not qualify for the promotion that gives out live tourney packages for ring winners. However, Kempet posted the original description of the promotion by the World Series of Poker that very distinctly did not distinguish between live and online Circuit events.

On top of that, a press release on Ceasars.com published in April 2026, claims: “All gold ring event winners over the course of the 2026 WSOP Circuit season receive an exclusive $5,000 WSOP package (including tournament buy-in and hotel accommodations), redeemable for WSOP Paradise (set for December 2026 at Baha Mar resort in Nassau, Bahamas)”.

Granted, the press release is markedly about a live WSOP Circuit stop — but the language in that passage is unambiguous. This is not something a Caesars employee should just put up on their website without clearance from legal counsel.

Kemper posted screenshots of the terms and conditions for the $5,000 WSOP Circuit package, and nowhere did it claim that online winners are not eligible.

Some users replied to Kemper’s post stating as a matter of fact that online winners do not qualify for the package; while others criticized him for posting a Google AI overview info box to appeal for his package. Todd Whittles, on the other hand, shared a screenshot of an X post made by the World Series of Poker which claimed that “each ring winner will receive a $5,000 package”.

It seemed that even his own X audience was not necessarily on Kemper’s side in the argument. But that did not deter him, and his determination eventually paid off for him.

Kemper Gets His Bahamas Package at Last

On August 1st, the WSOP put out a post on X announcing that after listening to player feedback, winners of “qualifying” online WSOP Circuit events will also be receiving $5,000 Bahamas live tournament packages.

We’ve listened to player feedback and are pleased to confirm that eligible winners of qualifying WSOP Online Circuit events in both the U.S. and international markets will continue to receive a $5,000 WSOP Paradise invitation package.

While it is unclear what exactly makes a Circuit event qualify for the promotion, what is definitely clear is that Kemper had played in one of those events. As he shared in a follow-up X post, he is going to the Bahamas.

The WSOP Paradise in Nassau, Bahamas will be taking place from December 3rd to December 17th this year.
