To mark its 25th anniversary, ACR Poker is hosting the biggest Venom tournaments in the brand's history.

Running from August 13 to September 2, 2026, the series features the Venom MB with a $12,000,000 GTD and the Venom MB PLO with a $3,000,000 GTD.

As a reminder, the largest payout in Venom MB history went to "BALDOUS" from the UK at the end of last year. He won $500K and $100K in bounties (for a total bounty of $729,932), and the total payout for the tournament, in which "BALDOUS" finished second, was $1,240,310. The anniversary Venom MB could see even greater prize pools, as the tournament's guarantee has been increased by $4M compared to the winter event.

Why Mystery Bounty?

Mystery Bounty tournaments differ from both classic tournaments and PKO events because a substantial share of the prize pool is awarded through random bounty draws once players reach the money.

In the Venom MB, the largest possible bounty is $500,000 in the NLH event and $200,000 in the PLO event. That means every knockout after the money bubble bursts gives players a chance to win a huge bounty equal to the final table payout.

This format adds an extra layer of excitement to Day 2, as major rewards are no longer determined solely by a player's finishing position.

More flights

Unlike previous Dual Mystery Bounty Venom editions, the 25th Anniversary tournaments will feature eight Day 1 flights instead of five, giving players more flexibility to choose when to begin their campaign.

However, every starting flight also provides another opportunity to build a larger stack for Day 2.

A large chip stack is especially valuable once the Mystery Bounty stage begins, allowing players to apply more pressure on opponents, win more all-ins, and compete for additional knockout rewards.

Advancing to Day 2 guarantees prize money

One of the standout features of the Venom MB is that every player who advances to Day 2 is already guaranteed cash. In addition, all Day 2 qualifiers receive a payout equal to two rake-free buy-ins. As a result, players who qualify after one or two entries have effectively turned their Day 1 investment into a freeroll.

Starting Day 2 with a guaranteed payout allows players to focus not only on building their stack but also on chasing lucrative Mystery Bounties. The format combines a traditional payout structure with the excitement of random knockout rewards, giving players multiple ways to significantly increase the final prize pool through successful knockouts in the ITM zone.

Satellites

To ensure that players of any bankroll have a chance to qualify for Venom, ACR Poker is organizing a large series of satellites:

• Venom Fever direct satellites with buy-ins starting at $55. A minimum of 1,500 tickets will be awarded. Two levels of satellites are available. The first level includes a freeroll:
