Melissa Moore wins Worldpokerdeals PLO 7-Max at Irish Poker Fest 2024
Melissa Moore was the winner of the first live tournament named after our company: Worldpokerdeals PLO 7-max, which was played on the opening day of the Irish Poker Festival 2024 in Dublin.
An Epic Trophy
The Irish Poker Fest 2024 tournament series is being played as part of the EDGE conference at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dublin from October 29th to November 3rd, 2024. The festival guarantees €1,000,000 in total, with a €700,000 Main Event. A special tournament, named after our website, was played on the opening day.
The €250 Worldpokerdeals PLO 7-max attracted a total of 22 participantes who made 34 entries, creating a modest prize pool of €7,255. American Melissa Moore won all the chips and took home €3,000.
The most experienced player in the tournament was the Irishman Mark Buckley, who has racked up over $700,000 in prize money on the live circuit and finished in fourth place.
Boston native Melissa has just over $20,000 in live tournament winnings and is a regular at Encore Boston, where she has won three tournaments this year alone. She was wearing WPT Global branded apparel at the tournament.
Melissa was 20th in chips after the rebuy period and entered the final table in 5th place. The final heads-up match was between Lithuanian Gediminas Bartkus.
