The thirteenth season of High Stakes Poker starts on July 29, 2024

From July 29, 2024, all fans of classic poker shows will receive a gift from the PokerGO channel, as the 13th season of High Stakes Poker will be available from then on. In total there will be 14 episodes starring industry stars.

New season

The first of the fourteen episodes of the thirteenth season of High Stakes Poker will air on July 29, 2024, at 20:00 ET.

The following episodes will be released at the beginning of each week until October, exclusively for PokerGO channel subscribers. The platform announced different discounts to celebrate the launch using the code "HSP13".

For those who are not subscribed, the episodes will be available a couple of months later on the PokerGO YouTube channel. A.J. Benz and Nick Schulman will commentate.

Bets on High Stakes Poker are $200/$400 with a minimum purchase of $100k. Donnie Peters, Director of Marketing and Communications at PokerGO, commented that it was possible to see games up to $500/$1,000.

Recall that in season 12, the largest jackpot in the program's history was won thanks to the highest bets.

Participants

On this occasion, the organizers highlighted the presence of the following players:

Phil Hellmuth
Andrew Robl
Jennifer Tilly
Chamath Palihapitiya
Nick "Airball" Arcot

Although the first three participants are old acquaintances of the series, the last two just started playing in the last chapters.

Chamath Palihapitiya comes from a humble immigrant family from Sri Lanka and has managed to forge his way to become Facebook's vice president. He currently manages various investments, including cryptocurrencies. Chamath's fortune is estimated at $1 billion (US).

Palihapitiya considers poker a simulator that helps him become a better entrepreneur. Rarely plays live and prefers high-stakes close games:

Nick appeared on American poker shows just last year. He has been seen mainly at the Hustler Casino Live tables, where he plays very aggressive draws with an indecipherable range. Not much is known about his life; according to Arcot, he was an investor until 2022, and the rest of the time was spent playing poker.
