Triton Poker Super High Roller Series first stop announced for March 2019
The first Triton Poker Series was played in 2015, and in total, Triton has held 9 events with millions of dollars in prizes and part of the best action that has even been seeing in poker history. This year, 5 stops have been confirmed March, May, July, September, and November, and for the first one (March 2019) the dates have been announced.
Triton Poker Super High Roller Series 2018
In May 2018 the Triton Super High Roller Series Montenegro featured 4 tournaments, including two Short-Deck (6+) events with buy-ins over $100kUSD and prizes of $3,4MUSD for the winner. Phil Ivey won the HKD 250,000 Short Deck Ante-Only defeating Dan Cates in the final heads-up for a prize of 4,749,200 HKD ($605kUSD).
Jason Koon won the HKD 1,000,000 Short Deck Ante-Only for almost $3,4MUSD and that is one of the reasons why he has been named Triton Poker Ambassador for 2019. Also, in Montenegro, the biggest pot ever televised in poker history was played with over €2MEUR at the table.
Triton Poker Super High Roller Series 2019
Starting on March 2nd, 2019 up to March 9th, 2019, 6 events are scheduled to be played in Jeju Island, South Korea in the Landing Resort & Casino for the Triton Poker SHR 2019, being the first event an HKD 250,000 Short Deck Ante-Only. The Main Event will be played from March 6th to 7th and it has a buy-in of HKD 2,000,000 ($254kUSD). The confirmed events are the following ones:

The Triton Poker SHR count for the Global Poker Index and in the following months the full schedule of the additional stops will be released. Players like Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Fedor Holz, Daniel "Jungleman" Cates, John Juanda, Dan Colman, Jason Koon among others usually play the series and after the tournaments, they play high-stakes cash games with other players. It's important to mention that the Triton organization donates funds to charities such as Project Pink and Red Cross.
