In 2022, at the last edition of the WSOP Circuit Brazil in São Paulo, 10 of the 12 rings remained at home. The grand champion of the series was Brazilian Chris Porás, who took home R$500,000.

This time, the event organization claims that they seek to go down in history as one of the largest stages ever held outside of Las Vegas.

The 2024 stage will be held in Rio de Janeiro at the Windsor Marapendi Hotel in Barra da Tijuca.

Features of the series

From March 13 to 20, 2024, Rio de Janeiro will host the WSOP Circuit Brazil 2024. The circuit has R$9,000,000 guaranteed and 24 scheduled tournaments, 16 of them awarding WSOP Rings to the winners.

1. Buy-ins range from $ 800 to $ 30,000.
2. Guaranteed prizes range from R $ 200k to R$2.5 M.
3. The circuit has four millionaire events.
4. The schedule features Omaha events (PLO, PLO5, and PLO5 Hi-lo), including a high roller.
5. Five KO events (four NLH and one Omaha) and one Mystery Bounty.

Main Events

In addition to the Main Event, which guarantees a thrilling R$2,5M prize pool, one of the great highlights is the Brazilian Storm, an event with R$1.200 buy-in and three starting days, which should gather thousands of competitors in search of the ring.

On the other hand, high rollers will have several event options with buy-ins between R$10,000 and R$30,000. Pot-Limit Omaha tournaments will also be played, one of the most popular formats in poker nowadays, especially across LatAm.

• Brazilian Storm: R$1M GTD for R$1,200.
• High Roller: R$1,5 M GTD per R$10.000.
• Super High Rollers: R$1M GTD for R$30,000.
• Single Day PLO 5 High Roller: R$500.000 GTD for $R10.000.

Ring Chaser Turbo

A kind of" satellite" where five initial flights occur, and only 2 players per flight pass to the final stage to dispute the ring. The buy-in of Ring Chaser is R$800, and the event has no defined guaranteed prize pool.
