Ozoon Poker Review (ex-Bodog)
Ozoon.eu, formerly operating under the name Bodog, is the Canadian branch of the PaiWangLuo poker network. The name changed overnight in February 2026, and everything that brought recreational players to Bodog came along with it. We checked every figure against Ozoon's site, its terms and its lobby, and some of Bodog's old terms did not survive the years.
For many years Bodog Poker has been a leader in the online poker ecosystem fight, and its platform innovated with many measures to protect casual players. Thanks to this, it's still one of the softest online poker sites.
Existing Bodog Poker players keep their accounts and continue sharing PaiWangLuo tables with Ignition Casino. Ozoon Poker serves most Canadian provinces, with Ontario and Manitoba excluded. Our players have been with Bodog since 2018 and reported no problems during the move to Ozoon. That experience is useful context, though it does not guarantee future results. Ozoon holds a Tobique Gaming Commission license, issued by a First Nation regulator rather than a Canadian provincial authority.
Ozoon's welcome bonus releases as you play, returning roughly 50% of paid rake during its 30-day clearing period. There is no ongoing poker rakeback from Ozoon itself; players registered through Worldpokerdeals can receive it through our affiliate deal; reach out to our team for details.
For Canadian poker fans, Ozoon combines anonymous poker with Interac and crypto payments. Its tournament schedule also gives MTT players a reason to consider it. For cash game grinders, the four-table limit and restrictions on opponent-tracking software may be decisive drawbacks; cash stakes top out at $10/$20 in No Limit and Pot Limit.
Bodog is now Ozoon: what changed for players
On February 17, 2026, Bodog's Canadian site became Ozoon: your account, login, balance, Rewards Points and loyalty status moved over, and there is no second identity check. The switch happened overnight, and the site now lives at ozoon.eu. Bodog's notice said the brand owner had decided to stop letting online gambling operators use the name, so the Canadian site relaunched under a new one.
Bodog's Latin American players went a different way: from February 18, 2026, they were moved to Ignition Poker. Bovada is a separate brand and still serves the US under its own name.
Who can play at Ozoon Poker?
Ozoon Poker only takes Canadians from most provinces, but Manitoba is closed by a court order, Ontario is closed, and New Brunswick is served by a separate company.
In 2025 a Manitoba court ordered Bodog to stop operating in the province. Ontario players can find what is open to them in our guide to online poker in Canada.
Ozoon is very strict with its geographic restrictions. Players in excluded regions can't open or use an account, and playing from a closed province puts it at risk.
Ozoon Poker welcome bonus
Ozoon Poker matches your first deposit of $10 or more 100% up to $1,000, no code needed, and releases the bonus in pieces as you pay rake. Every 150 Rewards Points you earn in poker within 30 days of the deposit release $5; cash games, SnGs and MTTs all count, and released amounts carry no rollover.
Measured against rake, that is about 50% rakeback while the bonus runs and about 70% in Jackpot Sit & Go. Ozoon gives one welcome bonus per account, so taking the poker bonus means giving up the casino one.
How to earn Rewards Points
Depending on the game format, players receive the following number of points:
- In cash games and MTT – 15 points for every $1 in rake.
- In Sit & Go tournaments – 15 points for every $1 in fees.
- In Jackpot Sit & Go – 1.5 points for every $1 in buy-ins.
Ozoon Poker rakeback
Beyond the 30-day welcome bonus, Ozoon Poker pays no rakeback, either as a percentage or as tournament tickets for points, so on this site it comes only through affiliate deals like ours.
Rewards Points contribute to the Ozoon Rewards loyalty program, which features six tiers divided into 14 stages. The Bronze and Black statuses each consist of a single stage, the other four have three each, and your status never resets.
The redemption rates and reward tables on Ozoon's website apply to casino and sportsbook play. Points earned in poker can be exchanged only for casino free spins.

Rake structure
Ozoon.eu charges 5% rake across all cash games, with caps changing with the stake and number of players. The cap tops out at $4 in No Limit and Pot Limit and at $3 in Fixed Limit, and tournament fees run from 5% to 10% depending on the format.

Games and traffic
Ozoon Poker, Ignition Casino and Bovada share a player pool on the PaiWangLuo network. The cash lobby doesn't show its tables and trackers don't cover the network, so the only traffic figure we can give is our own count of the fast-fold Zone Poker lobby.
Cash games
Texas No Limit Hold'em runs from $0.02/$0.05 to $10/$20 at 6-max and 9-max tables, and Fixed Limit Hold'em goes up to $30/$60. PLO and PLO Hi/Lo are Pot Limit and 6-max, up to $10/$20; there is no Fixed Limit Omaha.
Games are anonymous, and you can play only four cash tables simultaneously. Quick Seat assigns you a table after you choose the game and format; you cannot select a specific table or opponent.
Fast-fold poker (Zone)
Zone Poker is Ozoon's fast-fold format. It runs No Limit Hold'em from $0.02/$0.05 to $2.50/$5, PLO up to $0.75/$1.50 and Omaha Hi/Lo up to $0.25/$0.50. Omaha formats are listed, but no players were seated in them during our lobby check.
We counted the Zone lobby once, at 01:41 GMT in September 2026, in the Ignition client, which shows the network's shared pool:

At the time of our count, all 33 players were at Hold'em stakes between $0.10/$0.25 and $1/$2.
Tournaments
Sunday carries the schedule, headed by the $200K GTD at $150 + $12 with four re-entries; around it run the $10K GTD Warm-Up at $11 and the $100K GTD High Roller at $325. Satellites start at $1, and two series run on top of the weekly events: the Black Diamond Poker Open and the Golden Spade Poker Open.
Regular SnGs run from $1.05 to $105 in HU, 6-max, 9-max, turbo and hyper-turbo formats, and Ozoon lists fields of up to 180 players.
Jackpot Sit & Go
Ozoon's three-player lottery tournaments are called Jackpot Sit & Go. A wheel sets the prize pool at a multiple of the buy-in, up to 4,000x. The top multiplier depends on the buy-in:

Is Ozoon Poker legit? License, RNG and reputation
What backs Ozoon beyond paper is Bodog's 30-plus years and our players' record on Bodog and Ozoon. The key facts:

Bodog was founded by crypto investor Calvin Ayre. Ozoon Poker operates under a license issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission, the regulatory authority of the Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick, Canada. The platform is managed by Rocketship Ventures S.R.L. Players from New Brunswick are served by a different company, Caravan Media B.V., under Curaçao license OGL/2024/674/0714.
Rocketship Ventures is on TGC's public list of license holders. TGC only takes complaints through a "Tobique Shield" link in the licensee's footer, and we found none on ozoon.eu; Ozoon's own Dispute Resolution Office is an internal mailbox.
Our players have been on Bodog since 2018; the move to Ozoon changed nothing for them, and none has run into problems. That is our players' experience, not a guarantee.
On Trustpilot, the ozoon.eu profile scores 3.5/5 from 81 reviews, about a third of them one-star. Most complaints concern withdrawal delays and verification, site outages and the settling of sports bets. The profile is claimed, and Ozoon replies to almost every negative review. The complaints are players' own accounts; we haven't verified them.
Softness of the field
Ozoon's field stays soft by design: its rules take away the tools professional poker players normally use to find and farm weak players. Bodog, now Ozoon Poker, built these rules into the platform long before "poker ecology" became a talking point:

- No table selection
- Restrictions on multitabling (4 cash tables, 15 tournaments)
- Restrictions on third-party software
All of this, combined with US players from Ignition Casino and Bovada and the integration with a sportsbook and a casino, gives Ozoon one of the softest fields available in modern online poker.
Attitude towards professional players
You can import your own hand histories into a tracker, but Ozoon's terms restrict assistance software and databases on opponents, so most reg tools are off the table:

Pro players and rake machines won't feel comfortable at Ozoon Poker. Nevertheless, any player following the rules is welcome to the tables.
Ozoon Poker software
Ozoon Poker develops its own software, and it can be called quite unique. Built to keep opponents unknown, Ozoon's own client runs on Windows and Mac, plus a browser version (see our download guide). Your hands can go into a tracker, but a HUD on opponents lasts one session and Ozoon's terms forbid it.
The cash lobby does not show the number of tables or offer waiting lists. To join a game, choose the game type and format, then use Quick Seat.
The MTT lobby is more traditional, but all participants are called "player##," and their identity is never revealed.
Technically, PokerTracker 4 and Holdem Manager 3 work through a hand converter, with the HUD limited to the current session. Our Poker Catcher / Card Catcher does the converting for PT4, HM3 and Hand2Note, runs with the Windows client only and saves Zone hands without a HUD; Worldpokerdeals players get it free.
Please note: Section 5.3 of Ozoon's terms bans external player-assistance programs and any database on other players beyond your own observation, so a HUD on opponents runs at your own risk.
Mobile app
Although Ozoon Poker has not developed a native client for Android or iOS, its HTML5 platform runs on phones and tablets. Ozoon lists every game in the browser version, and the size of the tables and lobby adapts to any screen. The web app goes onto an iOS or Android home screen through "Add to Home Screen"; it isn't listed in the app stores.
Deposits and withdrawals
Ozoon is well-known as a Bitcoin-friendly poker site. Six coins and Bitcoin Lightning work for deposits and withdrawals, and fiat runs through Interac e-Transfer, bank transfer, MatchPay and cards. As usual, the cashier will show the available options when you log in from your country.

Limits can differ by account, and your cashier shows the ones that apply to you. Balances are held in Canadian dollars. Ozoon notes that your withdrawal method may depend on how you deposited. The first cheque by courier in any 30 days is free, and each one after that costs $50.
Ozoon requires every deposit to be wagered in full before you can withdraw winnings. Withdrawals also need a verified account, plus a Credit Card Verification Form for each card you used.
Ozoon quotes about 24 hours to review a withdrawal request, 24–48 hours for a cheque. After approval, coins other than Bitcoin arrive within an hour, Bitcoin within 24 hours, bank transfers in 3–5 business days and cheques in 10–15.
Poker room charges no fees on crypto, Interac e-Transfer or bank transfers, but your bank may charge for cards or transfers, so crypto is the cheapest route.
For cashier and account questions, Ozoon answers through live chat, email ([email protected]), Telegram and Discord. No phone number is listed on the site, and support hours aren't published.
Ozoon casino and sportsbook
The same account opens Ozoon's casino, sportsbook and horse racing, and all of them feed one pool of Rewards Points, but you can claim only one welcome bonus: poker or casino.

Who is Ozoon Poker for?
Ozoon's anonymous tables and limits on multitabling favour recreational play over high-volume cash grinding. How it fits different players:
- Recreational players – definitely yes. Hidden nicknames, low-stakes Zone, Jackpot Sit & Go up to 4,000x and a phone web app are all aimed at you.
- MTT players – mostly yes. The Sunday $200K GTD, the High Roller and two tournament series give you options, though the 15-table cap and restrictions on opponent-tracking software still apply.
- Crypto players – yes. Six coins and Bitcoin Lightning work for deposits and withdrawals; standard coins allow one withdrawal request per coin every three days, and Lightning has separate limits.
- Pro Texas Hold 'em and Omaha rakeback players – mostly no. With a four-table cap on cash games and no rakeback from the site after the bonus, cash grinders can hardly call it their main site, unless they play through a rakeback deal.
Ozoon also won't suit you if you play No Limit or Pot Limit cash above $10/$20 or need withdrawals above the cashier limits.
