Ask Fedor at GGPoker: Everything you need to know
GGPoker introduced a new exciting feature on April 29, 2022: Ask Fedor. It allows you to get advice from artificial intelligence (AI) on the hands played at the Hold'em tables, including MTTs. In this article, we will study all the details.
What is Ask Fedor?
Ask Fedor is an online poker training tool powered by Prometheus artificial intelligence. Its mechanics were tested and approved by Fedor Holz, the most famous German player, who has been developing training programs and algorithms for poker players and Pokercode for many years.
The tool will provide a rating from 1 to 5 to the key actions of the player in the analyzed hand and the AI version of this action.
How do AI hints work?
To use them, you need:
- Go to the hand history* (there is a replay button at every table in PokerCraft)
- Click on the "Ask Fedor" button in the lower right corner of the table
- Wait until the analysis of the hand is completed
Only hands played after April 29, 2022, can be analyzed
History in PokerCraft
To make it easier to work with pre-made results in the future, a section has been added to PokerCraft. It includes:
- The membership level
- Rating statistics: the number of ratings of different levels, their dynamics over time, the total number of requests
- List of hands analyzed
What hands cannot be analyzed?
Not all hands, even those played at the Hold'em tables, may be compatible with the Ask Fedor feature. These include hand:
- With a straddle from players out of position
- With cash drop
- With "dead chips"
- With four or more players on the flop
- In bounty tournaments
Cost
There is no free access to this tool. You'll have to buy a subscription first:
- Basic - 30 questions, no VIP analysis (stakes $25/$50 and buy-ins $5k+) — $29.99 per month
- Advanced - 100 questions + 20 bonus questions, no VIP games analysis — $99.99 per month
- Premium - unlimited questions, VIP games included — $199.99 per month
You will get a 50% discount for the first month ($99.99 instead of $199.99 in the Premium one).
Ask Fedor tool is, in fact, a legal replacement for third-party training software for medium and high stakes regs. Nevertheless, the built-in feature is much inferior in its capabilities to specialized programs, and many players have complained about the high cost.
