Online poker has long ceased to be just a game — it has become a show. Thousands of players around the world have tried themselves as streamers, sharing hands and emotions with the audience. However, in recent years, the industry has faced a crisis: there are fewer viewers, and the motivation of creators is declining. In this situation, GGPoker offered a new solution — Streamer Mode, created to support streamers and revive interest in poker streams.

In 2025, the poker streaming market was in crisis. According to Twitch statistics, the average number of viewers of poker broadcasts dropped by almost half, the total viewing time fell by 44%, and the peak audience decreased by 71%.

One of the main difficulties of poker streaming is the need to hide pocket cards. In the new mode, the streamer and viewers see different screens. The stream goes to the viewer without showing the streamer's cards. This allows you to focus on the game and communicate with the audience without delays in the broadcast or other tricks.

Inside the poker client, players see that someone is streaming at their table and can go to the broadcast in one click. In addition, a list of the most active streamers will be displayed on the main page of the application. This helps beginners and mid-level streamers quickly find an audience and develop.

It is also worth noting that all the features of Streamer Mode are available even if the player simultaneously streams the game in different poker rooms, and not just in GGPoker.
