A new ambassador from the world of martial arts and poker has joined CoinPoker. The second fighter, after British boxer Carl Froch, is Brazilian UFC fighter Paulo Costa

First Brazilian on the CoinPoker team

On December 2, 2024, the famous Brazilian UFC fighter Paulo Costa confirmed joining the CoinPoker Ambassador team.

He is ranked eleventh in the UFC's Middleweight category with 11 knockout wins, and he is known as “The Eraser.”

We could not find Costa’s history as a poker player, but on his social media page X (formerly Twitter), he wrote: “I’m going to fight on CoinPoker.”

Paulo Costa is CoinPoker's first Latin American representative. However, the room has partnered with the Argentine National Football Team for some time now.

CoinPoker announced three events to welcome the new ambassador:

BigFat Freeroll: Exclusive freeroll for players from Brazil, in which CoinPoker items and a seat in a VIP game with the new ambassador will be given away. The freeroll starts on December 5 at 22:00 GMT (19:00 BRT)
Mystery Freeroll: This is an open freeroll for all who have the password. It has the same prizes as the previous one (CoinPoker items and a seat in the VIP game), plus several poker tickets. The tournament starts on December 13 at 19:00 GMT. Paulo will broadcast it on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/bigfatfatop), where the password will be published.
VIP Match: Private game with Paulo Costa, Carl Froch, and several high-stakes professionals. This match starts on December 15 at 17:00 GMT (14:00 BRT). You can only participate by winning a seat in the freerolls or receiving an invitation from CoinPoker. This match will also be streamed on the room's channel on Twitch.
