CoinPoker has received significant advertising space on one of the major poker shows. In August 2026, High Stakes Poker will host seven live streams on PokerGO for the first time, and CoinPoker will serve as the main sponsor of the entire series. This marks another significant step for the cryptocurrency poker room as it seeks to attract more players in the US market.
High Stakes Poker announced a new high-stakes cash game format for the show.
From August 25 to 31, 2026, PokerGO will stream a game daily from its own studio in Las Vegas, turning the program’s traditional format into a full seven-day series of live streams. CoinPoker will serve as the title sponsor of the entire project, with the poker room’s logo integrated directly into the broadcasts and related promotional materials.
For High Stakes Poker, this represents a significant change to its usual format. The show has historically aired as a series of individual episodes, whereas this time, viewers will be able to follow the action live for seven consecutive days. PokerGO CEO Brent Hanks said the company expects several well-known professionals to take part.
Only part of the lineup has been announced so far. The first players named include:
The partnership comes at a particularly active time for CoinPoker. In August, the poker room launched the largest series in its history, the Global Online Poker Championship, featuring a $50 million guarantee. It also expanded its bonus program by introducing the paid 3-Bet Club subscription, which offers additional rakeback.
As such, the High Stakes Poker sponsorship appears to be part of a broader marketing campaign by CoinPoker. The poker room is consistently increasing its points of contact with players, ranging from major online series and exclusive bonuses to high-profile media partnerships with well-known brands.
This partnership is particularly interesting given CoinPoker's strategy in the US. Back in 2025, the poker room prioritized signing players from the USA and added at least five US citizens to Team Pro, including Nikil "Nik Airball" Arcot.
In February 2026, Mariano Grandoli and Brantzen Wong were awarded contracts simultaneously. These players are particularly valuable to CoinPoker because of their profiles: all are associated with high-stakes cash games in the US and have large audiences on YouTube and other media. In June, the US high roller Seth Davis joined Team CoinPoker.
Against this backdrop, the partnership with PokerGO seems a logical extension of the same strategy. However, CoinPoker’s expansion into the US market has not been without its challenges. During the 2026 WSOP, the organizers tightened their rules regarding third-party poker brands, and CoinPoker was among the companies whose patches were banned from player apparel.
This is quite a telling contrast. CoinPoker had no public presence at the largest US poker series, but soon secured the opportunity to become the main sponsor of an entire week of High Stakes Poker on PokerGO. These are different advertising platforms with specific rules, but the overall trend is clear: CoinPoker continues to seek options to gain a foothold in the US poker media landscape. The partnership with High Stakes Poker is the latest, and likely one of the most ambitious, elements of this strategy.
