The second edition of the WSOP Paradise confirmed its schedule months before its start. It will again have 15 bracelet events, with a WSOP #9 Main Event with $50,000,000 GTD and a millionaire freeroll. All the details in our article.

World Series of Poker Paradise Full Schedule

New World Series record

Days after GGPoker's announcement of purchasing the WSOP, the organization revealed the complete tournament schedule for the December festival, which will be played in the Bahamas.

The WSOP Paradise 2024 will be played from December 6 to 19, 2024, at the Atlantis Casino in the Bahamas. The event will award 15 gold bracelets.

The series' number of events is the same as last year's, but many of these tournaments had drastic changes.

The big sensation is the Main Event, which will have a guaranteed record prize of $50,000,000 and a massive buy-in for such an event in the World Series—$26k.

Clearly, this figure is not a coincidence. The prize pool is exactly $10M more than the tournament that held the record, the Main Event of the WPT World Championship 2023.

The most expensive stage of the WSOP

The series has become much more expensive overall. The minimum buy-in will not be $1.5k but $2.5k, and seven tournaments will cost $26,000.

This is due to the beginning of the alliance between the WSOP and Triton Poker, a brand recognized for organizing high-roller tournaments around the world. Because of this, event #2 will have a $500,000 buy-in and will be called “Triton Million.”

This event will be played by invitation only. The organizers will decide which amateurs will participate, and each can invite a professional.

Millionaire Freeroll

Another great novelty is the WSOP Paradise 2024 is the Super Saver $1M Invitational.

Competitors

The organizers of the other two festivals played in December have yet to make any big announcements. All we know so far is the dates:

WPT World Championship from December 3 to 23rd
EPT Prague from 4th to 15th December

Suppose the European series is played without major changes (as last year). In that case, all eyes will turn to the event at the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas, as it could shock the market.

Similarly, the Main Event of the WPT World Championship will not overlap with the Main Event of the WSOP Paradise, so those interested will be able to play both tournaments, which will feature the largest guaranteed tournaments in poker history.
