GGPoker increased its capabilities to identify those who use RTA. The poker room announced a collaboration with the renowned software developer GTO Wizard.

New partnership for game integrity

In 2020, GGPoker announced the expulsion of 40 players for using RTA. In March this year, 31 more cheaters suffered the same fate for violating fair play rules. This time, people who know GTO software better than anyone else helped the room identify players.

On March 5, 2025, GGPoker officially partnered with GTO Wizard, a leading software developer.

The press release mentions that the tools developed by the poker room's new partner guarantee a high level of game integrity and identify users whose behavior at the tables does not deviate from the Optimal Game Theory.

Of course, the details of how these tools work are not revealed, so cheaters do not have a chance to adapt their strategy.

Interestingly, at the same time, GGPoker confirmed a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), a recognized world leader in cloud computing and security solutions.

The poker room's fraud detection and prevention system has reached a new level by using advanced artificial intelligence, machine learning, and AWS security infrastructure.

GTO Wizard Features

In 2023, GTO Wizard shared its vision of modern online poker security issues with the community and openly talked about how these problems could be solved.

At the same time, a tool for verifying the integrity of the game was presented that any player could use. If you suspect that someone at your table has been using RTA, you can use GTO Wizard's Fair Play Check to check if any situation was resolved at a certain point.

The results of this review have been accepted by the security services of the WPN, iPoker, and WPT Global networks for two years.

In the future, GTO Wizard plans to launch a GTO reporting system: by uploading a hand history you can check if your opponents played in an “unhuman” way against you.

We are convinced that poker rooms will receive much more advanced tools from GTO Wizard, allowing GGPoker to identify dishonest players.
