New Stake Poker Advertising Campaign Featuring Alex Pereira

UFC Fighter Joins the World of Cards

Stake announced its partnership with Alex Pereira over a year ago. The iron-willed fighter perfectly embodies the brand's philosophy, which values decisiveness over caution.

Alex became the first Stake ambassador to promote the poker room. In his new video, he presents poker as a game where not only strategy but also fighting spirit are important, and where every hand can be decisive.

The collaboration with the UFC star strengthens Stake Poker's position in regions where MMA and crypto gambling are rapidly gaining popularity – Latin America and Asia.

Charismatic and instantly recognizable, Alex Pereira is the current light heavyweight champion. His participation highlights Stake’s serious ambitions — the company launched its poker division only a year ago and is already aiming to rival.

Stake Poker Updates

Stake Poker has launched a new marketing campaign alongside a major client update:

  • New formats: All-In or Fold, PLO5, PLO6, designed for those who enjoy risk and action.
  • Two jackpots. Bad Beat for Hold'em and Omaha tables is triggered when losing with a hand containing four of a kind deuces. For AoF tables, it is triggered when winning a hand with a straight flush.
  • Updated lobby: instead of a long list of cash tables, only the limits and number of connections are displayed. Players are seated randomly—less selection, but more action.
  • New limits: levels up to $2.50/$5 (NLH, PLO) and $5/$10 (AoF) have been added.
  • Omaha Freerolls: Weekly tournaments with $200 and $300 prize pools.

These updates make Stake Poker more welcoming to beginners while still appealing to regulars seeking softer fields. Currently, the most action in the poker room is at 9-max tables with limits from NL$2-$200.
