The WPT Global poker room has announced a year-long promotion for tournament players. Those with the best results in the leaderboards of the series and regular Sunday MTTs by the end of 2024 will share $250,000 in prizes. $100K will go to the Player of the Year promo winner.

WPT Global Player of the Year

From January 1 to November 24, 2024, WPT Global will host the “Player of the Year” promotion with $250,000 guarantees in prizes.

The following events will qualify for the promotion:

Four seasonal series (Major Festivals): Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Four mid-season festivals.
Sunday flagships: Sunday Slam, Grand Slam, Mini Slam.

Points

Ranking points in all “Player of the Year” tournaments are awarded according to the formula: √(Buy-in x Number of entries/Final place).

The following coefficients are applied to the points of the players in the TOP 6:

In multi-stage tournaments, only the results of Day 2 are considered.

Prizes

The TOP 100 best players will receive payouts:

4-5	$12,400 WPT World Championship Package**
6-10	$5,000 Tournament Dollars

21-30	$1,000 Tournament Dollars
31-60	$500 Tournament Dollars
61-100	$250 Tournament Dollars

*WPT Passports include $12,400, which the player can spend on any live events of the World Poker Tour (held throughout the year in the USA, Europe, and Asia). Funds from the package can be used for buy-ins and transportation costs.
**WPT World Championship Package – a package for the Main tournament of the flagship WPT series, which takes place in December at Wynn Casino in Las Vegas. Package includes:
1. $10,400 - Tournament buy-in
2. $2,000 - for transportation expenses
3. WPT Global Merch

Players will receive prizes on November 24 and can also apply for participation in the tournaments included in the packages.
