The WPT Global poker room has completely updated the interface of all the app lobbies. We have made a full overview of the changes in this article.
WPT Global has carried out a global update of the application interface for the first time in three years since the launch of the poker room.
All lobbies have undergone the following changes:
By default, the WPT Global client opens with the lobby of cash tables for No Limit Hold'em.
The main means of navigation in the application are six plates of the top menu, named after the main types of games in the poker room:
In all cash table lobbies, the player sees a list of limits with the number of active connections. The right side of the application window contains information about games in the active lobby.
To see the list of individual tables, you now need to click on the arrow in the line of the desired limit.
In the lobby of individual limit tables, you can hide all full tables by checking the box next to the word “Open”.
Two major updates that affected all cash tables:
Above the list of tournaments are buttons for various MTT series in WPT Global. If you select any of the events, a description of the tournament will become available on the right side of the window.
If you click on the “Tournament Lobby” button, a window will open with more detailed information about the tournament:
To ensure that only the tournaments you want are displayed in the lobby, you can use the following filters.
Overall, we think the global update of the WPT Global app interface is a success. It has become easier to navigate the app, the dark theme and large fonts are much more pleasant to read.
The lack of filters in the cash lobby does not cause any serious difficulties.
