If you compare the best rakeback poker sites by a flat percentage, 888poker won't fit the grid: its loyalty program isn't where the rakeback is. The rakeback comes from weekly promotions cut by format, while the 888poker Club pays Gold Tokens per level, with no fixed return rate. We read every promotion's terms, checked the official rake table and noted the fees in the lobby.
The rate depends on what you play and how much. Weekly Rakeback returns 5% to 50% of cash-game rake once the week's total reaches $200, High-Stakes BLAST Cashback pays back up to 40% of fees, and Early Bird Rakeback returns 50% of fees on tournaments you register for before they start, up to $50 a week. All three promotions are for players 888 invites by email, and Ontario's 888poker.ca keeps only Early Bird, paid in bonuses.
Players who join 888poker through us get our rakeback deal.
Yes, but not as a flat rate: 888poker pays it through three weekly promotions: Weekly Rakeback, High-Stakes BLAST Cashback and Early Bird Rakeback. All share the same rules:
Every account joins the Club automatically with its first real-money bet. Challenges earn points, each new level pays Gold Tokens, and levels never drop. Tokens expire after 90 days without account activity.
Club challenges such as Hit the Poker Tables pay 100 points for every $1 in tournament fees and 100 points for every $3 in cash-game rake, so a cash player needs three times the spend to climb the same levels. These are the levels we saw on our account, and 888 says challenges and points can differ by player:
| Level | Points needed | Gold Tokens |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 1 | 5 |
| 2 | 10 | 5 |
| 3 | 25 | 5 |
| 4 | 50 | 5 |
| 5 | 100 | 5 |
| 6 | 125 | 10 |
| 7 | 150 | 10 |
| 8 | 175 | 10 |
| 9 | 300 | 15 |
| 10 | 200 | 10 |
The first ten levels pay 80 tokens for 1,136 points, which is about $34 in rake for a cash player or about $11 in fees for a tournament player. Those figures measure the climb, not money back.
The Redeem Page starts at 10 tokens, the price of a $3,000 Go for Gold Tournament ticket, and 50 tokens buy a $6,000 Road to Gold Tournament ticket. The shop also lists cash and casino bonuses, and wagering requirements depend on the bonus. Beyond tokens, levels open daily freerolls from level 5 and a Level up freeroll. We couldn't see a token price for cash on our account, and 888's terms put no cash value on Gold Tokens, so there is no Club percentage to calculate.

Pay at least $200 in cash-game rake in a Monday-to-Sunday week and 888poker returns 5% to 50% of the whole week's rake in cash. The week's total sets the rate:
| Weekly rake | Rakeback |
|---|---|
| $200–299 | 5% |
| $300–999 | 10% |
| $1,000–1,999 | 20% |
| $2,000–3,999 | 30% |
| $4,000–4,999 | 40% |
| $5,000+ | 50% |
Key terms:
At $999 in weekly rake, the rate is 10%; at $1,000, it rises to 20% on the entire amount. The tiers count cash games only, since BLAST and tournaments have programs of their own. 888 has also run short-term boosts such as Happy Hour Rakeback, so check the promotions board for extra rakeback weeks.
BLAST players at $50 buy-ins and up get 10% to 40% of their weekly BLAST fees back in cash. Tournament players who register before the start get 50% of their MTT fees back, up to $50 a week.
The cashback starts at $30 in weekly BLAST fees, counts only $50 buy-ins and up, and runs from Monday to Sunday, GMT. It arrives within 72 hours, has to be claimed within 7 days and doesn't stack with other BLAST cashback. The rate follows the week's fees:
| Weekly BLAST fees | Cashback |
|---|---|
| $30–499 | 10% |
| $500–999 | 20% |
| $1,000–3,999 | 30% |
| $4,000+ | 40% |
Early Bird pays 50% of MTT fees under these conditions:
On 888poker.com it comes in cash within 48 hours of Monday, via a link in 888's email that has to be clicked within 3 days, or the rakeback is lost. In practice, the 50% covers the first $100 of weekly fees, and every fee above that earns nothing from Early Bird.
888poker's rakeback follows the format you play and your weekly volume. A cash regular needs $1,000 or more in weekly rake to reach 20%, BLAST counts only from $50 buy-ins, and Early Bird flattens out at its $50 cap. The examples below assume an invited player who meets each promotion's other requirements:
| Profile | 888poker program | Rakeback on that week's rake or fees |
|---|---|---|
| Cash, under $200 rake a week | Club | No Weekly Rakeback |
| Cash, $300–999 rake | Weekly Rakeback | 10% |
| Cash, $1,000–1,999 rake | Weekly Rakeback | 20% |
| Cash, $5,000+ rake | Weekly Rakeback | 50% |
| BLAST, under $50 buy-ins | Club | No High-Stakes BLAST Cashback |
| BLAST, $50+ buy-ins, $500–999 in fees | High-Stakes BLAST Cashback | 20% |
| MTT, early registration, $100 in fees | Early Bird | 50% |
| MTT, early registration, $500 in fees | Early Bird | 10% (cap $50) |
Reaching 20% requires $500 in weekly BLAST fees but $1,000 in cash-game rake. A player who mixes cash and MTTs can receive both promotions in the same week if eligible for each, since Weekly Rakeback stacks with 888's other promotions. For an MTT grinder, Early Bird pays the same $50 whether the week's fees are $100 or $1,000.
Cash-game rake is 5% from NL10 up (6.25% at NL2, 5.88% at NL5), taken as a true percentage of the pot and rounded half to even. PLO is a flat 5% with lower caps at micro stakes, and Snap follows the Hold'em schedule. Caps vary by stake and players dealt in:
| Stakes | Rake | Cap 2 players | Cap 3+ players |
|---|---|---|---|
| $0.01/$0.02 | 6.25% | $0.50 | $0.50 |
| $0.02/$0.05 | 5.88% | $1 | $1 |
| $0.05/$0.10 | 5% | $1 | $2 |
| $0.10/$0.20 | 5% | $1 | $2.50 |
| $0.10/$0.25–$1/$2 | 5% | $1 | $4 |
| $2/$5 | 5% | $1 | $4 |
| $5/$10–$25/$50 | 5% | $2.50 | $5 |
| $50/$100–$100/$200 | 5% | $5 | $5 |
From NL25 to $2/$5, the $1 heads-up cap is a quarter of the full-table cap. Pot-Limit Omaha has caps of its own:
| Stakes | Rake | Cap 2 players | Cap 3+ players |
|---|---|---|---|
| $0.01/$0.02 | 5% | $0.20 | $0.20 |
| $0.02/$0.05 | 5% | $0.50 | $0.50 |
| $0.05/$0.10 | 5% | $1 | $1 |
| $0.10/$0.25–$0.25/$0.50 | 5% | $1 | $2.50 |
| $0.50/$1 | 5% | $1 | $3 |
| $1/$2–$2/$5 | 5% | $1 | $4 |
| $5/$10–$10/$20 | 5% | $2.50 | $5 |
Fixed Limit games are raked at 5%, falling to 2.5% from $7/$15.
These are the MTT fees we noted in the 888poker lobby:
| Buy-in excluding fee | Fee |
|---|---|
| $1 | $0.09 |
| $11 | $1 |
| $55 | $5 |
| $215 | $15 |
BLAST fees in the same lobby were 9% at $1, 8.1% at $10, 6.98% at $50 and 6.13% at $100.
Weekly Rakeback, High-Stakes BLAST Cashback and cash-paid Early Bird run on 888poker.com. In the UK, players get all three, while Northern Ireland is excluded. The weekly tiers for the UK also match.
Spain, Portugal, Germany, Romania, Denmark, Italy and Sweden are served by separate local 888 sites with offers of their own.
888poker.ca is the Ontario site, run by VHL Ontario Limited under an AGCO license. Besides the Club, its only rakeback is Early Bird, paid in bonuses with the same $50 weekly cap.
The .ca promotions board also runs BLAST Leaderboards, freerolls and a Multiprize Wheel. Our rakeback deal doesn't cover 888poker.ca, so players there get the site's standard rewards.

Opening an 888poker account through us brings a rakeback deal and entry to our weekly 888poker freeroll: $150 every Friday, and all you need to enter is the password we post in our Telegram. Our manager will walk you through the terms.
