Multitabling lands on WPT Global

Almost a year after its launch, one of the most anticipated features for regular and casual players comes to WPT Global: playing on up to 4 simultaneous tables is now possible.

WPT Global continues to set trends in the online poker market. Since its inception, the site has had incredible Asian-biased traffic and quickly climbed to the TOP10 of the PokerScout ranking. Step by step have been improving their software, and this week they added one of the most anticipated features by all players:

Since March 9, 2023, multitabling arrived at WPT Global.

However, the following restrictions apply since March 12:

Windows client:

Up to 7 MTT tables
Up to 2 cash game tables
Up to 1 Pace table
Up to 1 PokerFlips table.

Capped at 7 tables maximum.

Mac client:

Up to 4 MTT tables
Up to 2 cash game tables
Up to 1 Pace table
Up to 1 PokerFlips table.

Capped at 4 tables maximum.

The software is still in continuous improvement, as we noticed that there is still no button to automatically arrange the table layout, and we noticed a high consumption of PC resources with the 4 tables open.

We consider that the number of tables enabled is ideal to fulfill the objective of the room to maintain a balanced field between regulars and amateurs:

Regulars can play more volume in the room, mitigating the effects of variance and getting more rewards.
Casual players will be able to fill their screen with several tables of different formats and get more constant action, avoiding the boredom that playing at a single table can cause

Note: We have noticed that they also apply some filters to sit at the tables according to the type of player who makes the request; then, the casuals can rest assured that the room continues to protect them from the tables being reg-infested. Other rooms like PokerStars also have the same cap on multitabling.
