The Iranian poker pro Melika Razavi, who won a WSOP Online bracelet (Event #82 Beat the Pros), interviewed the Main Event winner Stoyan Madanzhiev about his experience playing the World Series of Poker Online on GGNetwork.
Stoyan Madanzhiev: 10 years playing poker
In a brief interview released by BetKings (GGNetwork skin), WSOP Online Main Event winner Stoyan Madanzhiev gives hints about his life.
Stoyan shared that the started playing poker over ten years ago when he was in school. Madanzhiev is a fan of snowboarding, swimming, but also Yoga and meditation, but he confessed that he spends most of his time playing poker.
According to the Bulgarian, GGNetwork did an excellent job and hosted a wonderful series, and he had the opportunity to play his favorite events.
I had a nice experience, people were very competitive, but also it was fun to play. It's a balance between both.
Melika, who also won a WSOP Online bracelet, shared that he wanted to travel to Las Vegas to play the live series last year, but her Visa application was denied.
Both grinders (Stoyan also needs a Visa to travel to the USA) highlighted that it's great having the chance to play online for real bracelets.
How did the WSOP Online Main Event champion celebrate?
Stoyan said that the Main Event was such a long event. Day 2 was indeed a marathon that started 9:30 pm and was played all night for over 12 hours. Madanzhiev always qualified with a substantial amount of chips and was always a TOP10 player in the WSOP Online ME.
Madanzhiev confessed that he needed some time to assimilate the victory. He drank some champagne with close friends during the first night, but he hasn't made a big celebration yet.
Once I get the bracelet in my hand, I'm going to throw a party with my friends, and it will be great.
