BetKings Poker review
BetKings Poker - one of the newest skins of the Good Game GG Network. It belongs to the European online bookmaker with the same name, founded in 2015.
BetKings Poker started its path as an online poker room with the Italian Network - The Hive, but in less than a year it was forced to close due to a network crisis. In 2017, BetKings was reopened as part of the GG Network.
The network itself is very well known at the moment. Initially, the network was almost completely focused in Asia market, but now offers a combination of Europe and Asian traffic.
GG Network has officially announced a support policy for amateur players, which can create some discomfort when playing in the room if you are a reg, but thanks to this policy BetKings Poker offers not only a large number of tables but also weak lineups.
BetKings, as part of the GG Network, is among the top poker rooms in terms of traffic. GG stands in the 6 position of PokerScout ranking due to the average number of games and connections.
The number of connections in the room in European time exceeds the six thousand. Taking into account the traffic combination in BetKings Poker (Europe and Asia), the room has two peak traffic (the second one in the afternoon in Europe). Therefore, the number of games is well distributed throughout the day.
Tables in BetKings are played in USD dollars. The lowest limits are NL10 and PLO10. Almost all the entire games are played in short (6-max) format. The traffic distribution is as follows:
No Limit Hold'em:
- NL10; about 20 tables
- NL25; 15-20 tables
- NL50-100; up to 15 on each limit
- NL200; up to 10 tables
In the highest limits, NL1k to NL5k, usually 3 tables are being played.
- PLO10-25; about 7-8 tables
- PLO50; more than 10 tables
- PLO100-200; about 5 on each limit;
- PLO400-1k; 2-3 tables
Eventually, some tables in higher stakes up to PLO20k can be found online.
BetKings offers Allin or Fold tables, a very popular 4-max format in the Asian market. 5-7 tables can be found in NL25-NL100 limits, and for NL400-NL1k 2-3 for each limit.
Omaha tables are popular in this format especially in low limits - 5 tables of PLO50 can be found, and PLO200 to PLO800 just a couple of tables.
BetKings Poker also offers Fortune Spin, a Spin&Go variant, with a maximum limit of $15.
The tournament grid in the room is bog too. Most of the tournaments have a buy-in of $10 and a turbo structure. There's no rake in satellites. The tournament grid is divided into Red, Blue, Green and Bounty Hunters Series. The Sunday tournaments with a buy-in of $200-$300 have guarantees up to $10,000. The main tournament is the Sunday High Roller, with $500 of buy-in and a prize of $10k GTD.
BetKings Poker strictly prohibits the use of any poker software then the client is running! We strongly advise not to go against this rule. Only notes can be taken in the software, no HUD is possible.
The poker client itself is developed by EGamingLab. The main lobby is a little bit similar to iPoker - having the same banners and the top horizontal menu with a game list. Unlike some other amateur-oriented rooms, Betking Poker offers waiting lists and viewing tables from the lobby. The number of players at the tables in the main lobby is shown by circles.
There are several design options for the tables, and bet-sizing and auto-rebuy can be also configured. Tables are convenient for multitabling purposes.
BetKings offers a very convenient cashier with Skrill, Neteller, and Visa. The withdrawal time is standard in the industry.
