Rampart Casino launches poker app in Nevada
Nevada-licensed operator Rampart Casino and mobile app developer Real Gaming launched an app to play 5 Card Draw against real opponents
Another online poker operator in Nevada?
There is another player in the legal online poker market in the United States.
Nevada operator Rampart Casino created a mobile app through which you can play 5 Card Draw against real opponents.
The app can be downloaded from the official Google Play and App Store stores. It was developed with the support of Real Gaming, a company that has previously created similar software for four other casinos in the country.
In a press release, Lawrence Vaughan, co-founder of Real Gaming, commented:
“We listened to our players and prepared a new product for them. This is a paradigm shift. Players won't want to miss out on this new way to play.”
Remember that until recently, the only platform for playing online poker in Nevada was WSOP.com, which only has Hold'em and Omaha games.
Interestingly, this summer, another gaming operator specializing in casinos and betting — DraftKings, added Electric Poker to its site. Under this name, we find a traditional Spin&Go.
5 Card Draw App
Rampart Online offers HU SnG in 5 Card Draw in two formats: Royal Blast and Big Jackpots with Quads. The tournaments have several features:
- The tournament lasts one hand
- Buy-ins from $1 to $10
- The winner only gets the buy-in back
- Rake from 2% to 10%
Additional bonus payments (the second player's buy-in) are given for certain combinations, even if the player loses the tournament. For example, at a $2 stake, there are payouts like this:
- JJ+ – $0.50.
- Trips – $3.5.
- Full house – $15.
- Four of a kind – $70.
- Royal flush – $4,500.
Because of these payouts, Rampart Online can be considered a mix of online poker and casino. Many players will notice the similarity between the new app and video poker.
Rampart Online has a promotion to attract more players until the end of January 2025: those who deposit $40 will receive $10 to play with.
A representative of Rampart Casino also mentioned that the app's range of games will expand in the future. These games will differ from those offered by classic poker rooms.
