WPT Global has announced the expansion of its professional team. Until recently, the brand was represented by nine players, led by the legendary Phil Ivey.

Fintan Hand has officially become the new WPT Global Ambassador, effective January 4, 2026.

Fintan Hand, 35, is originally from Ireland and known to most players by his nickname "EasyWithAces." His poker career began in Dublin, where he not only played but also worked for several years at the Fitzwilliam Casino, learning the industry from the inside.

Over time, Fintan built a career as a player and streamer. In 2017, he joined PokerStars Team Online, so the Irishman's main achievements are tied to this poker room:

• SCOOP 2021 High Roller PKO ($5 200) — 1st place — $232 156
• SCOOP 2020 NLHE ($1 050) — 1st place — $73 653
• SCOOP 2022 PKO ($2 100) — 1st place — $119 046.

Live, almost 40% of his total winnings ($158,394) came from taking third place in the EPT Mystery Bounty event in Barcelona in 2024.

The player's activity on social media deserves special attention. Fintan is one of the most recognizable poker streamers, with a large and loyal audience on Twitch (over 136,000 followers).

He is valued for his calm demeanor, honest hand analysis, and ability to explain complex gameplay concepts in simple terms. All this makes the Irishman especially important for a poker room that caters not only to professionals but also to a mass audience. It's no surprise that the contract with WPT Global was signed just two months after Hand announced his retirement from PokerStars.

Announcing this new stage in his career, Fintan wrote on social media:

"WPT Global contacted me and told me about their plans to develop poker in Ireland, and I immediately agreed to become an ambassador. Poker is the greatest game ever invented, and there's no better country for live poker than my homeland.

I will continue to play online every day. I assure you, there's no field weaker than the WPT Global right now. I haven't seen anything like it since 2008."

Fans of the streamer will likely be able to see him live and sporting his new patches at the Dublin Poker Festival in February. WPT Global regularly hosts satellites with  tickets to tournaments of the series.
